Double IPA like looks, with lasting off white head and light brown glowing body. Rich hop aroma, a well made mix of American hopped tropical fruits and darker forest like ones. Very pleasant caramel malt base underneath. Good mouth feel, not too thin and not too much carbonation. Strong bitterness at first, with only some darker fruit juiciness to balance. I don’t mind this though, as the taste is rich enough to justify that fierce bitterness. So not quite an American style, full ipa body but rather a strongly hopped hopped French interpretation. And that’s fine by me. Tasty. (33cl bottle from Bière Révolution) Bozo_skeleton (1158) - Grenoble, FRANCE - APR 1, 2013
Superbe IPA !

2012-09-06, bottle from La Cave à Bulles, Paris; 7% ABV, bb 26.03.2013, 7-4-7-4-14=36
Hazy light amber color with compact head. The aroma shows both some good hop and malt. Strong body, with strong flavor of caramel, malt, some toffee; it has a light residual sweetness and a high bitterness level. In the final there is just a bit too much yeast.
Good but not exciting, and not as fresh as on tap.

Hazy amber color; creamy head. It has a very peculiar aroma of saffron risotto, and earthy hops, some manure; very interesting. Medium body, quite good caramel flavor, generous hopping, that doesn’t burn the tongue but brings in some pleasant resiny and fruity feeling. Long final. Very well balanced, peculiar; very pleasant.
6,1%. Mooie oranje kleur met een volle fijne kraag. Ruikt fruitig, hop, orange. Smaakt bitter, hop, citrus. Beetje orange. Goede bittere afdronk. Best lekker. Travlr (24841) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - SEP 5, 2011
Draft at ML Fontainas. Deep golden color, big tan ice cam cone head. Subtle citrus aroma paled in comparison to the cigarette smoke that engulfed us. Taste is bitter lemon. Would love to try this again in a smoke free zone!

Very nice refreshing beer. citrus, orange, hoppy aroma. lightly sour and medium bitterness, drinks away well. Very nice discovery. I thought France was all about Kronenbourg, but i’m getting a lot of ace beers lately from FR! Tmoney99 (14492) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 17, 2013
Bottle shared by Dr Silverworm. Poured hazy copper color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy spruce, citrus hop and earthy aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture with soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy bittersweet flavor with a moderate to heavy bittersweet finish of medium to long duration. Very good brew.
