[email protected], Helsinki. Hazy golden colour, small white head. Aroma is hops, grass, some yeast and also mildly bready. Flavour is wood, yeast, mild notes of earth and also some lemon/citrusy fruits. A rather interesting and nice pils.

omhper (26030) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUL 26, 2015
Keg at SOPP, Helsinki. Clear deep golden, mid sized head. Fruity nose with some hay and pine needles. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Resiny hay-like bitter finish. Somewhat unpolished and aggressive.

[email protected] Known as "Pedolintu" among the Finnish beer connoisseurs. A bit hazy orange, steady white head, lots of lace. Very German - grassy, hayish aroma. Flavor is typical German too: very hayish hoppy. Finish is nicely grassy bitter with long aftertaste. The most German of all Plevna beers (although hops are Perle and Goldings). Solid, but doesn’t impress me with its one dimensional character.

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2017 Keg (Pikkulintu, Helsinki) - The original, Happy birthday Pikkulintu! (7:3:7:4:13=3.4)
Slightly hazy gold. Healthy creamy head. Sweet creamy malty aroma, subtly hopped - crisp and fruity. Typical Plevna creamy malty body. Richly flavoured - big hoppy taste - dry and bitter, and staying for a long finish. But also sweet and malty. Very pleasant, one of the better lagers I’ve had.
WARNING - don’t touch the filtered version, it’s shit compared to the unfiltered version.
Rerate: Tap (Leijuva Lahna, Helsinki) filtered version, as they all are nowadays (5:3:5:3:11=2.7)
Husky aroma. A touch vegetal taste, again husky. Very bitter finish. Tons of raw barley, but a bit rough. Shit compared to the original unfiltered version, but I can drink this at a push.

Scopey (16524) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 15, 2015
Keg at Pikkulintu. It pours clear gold with a thick white head. The nose is doughy, cereal, toasty grain, grass, cracker and grapefruit. The taste is crisp, clean, very bitter, grassy, doughy malt, soapy aspect, pepper and bitter grapefruit and cereal with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Great hopped-up lager bier.

Draft shared at Leijuvan Lahnan, Helsinki. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of light fruits, citrus, light malt and grain. A little vegetal unfortunately as it opens up. Flavour is light sweet and heavy bitter. Above light bodied with light carbonation.

UPDATED: APR 7, 2014 Draught (500 ml) at Plevna, Tampere, Finland.
Hazy golden colour with frothy creamy head. Long lasting hoppy aftertaste. Good pils.

Draught at the Plevna, Tampere, Finland.
Cloudy golden colour with a big foamy white head, Strong grassy hoppy aroma with mild balancing maltiness. Balanced it seems to be. The flavour is really strong bitter hoppy. It’s not just the grassy hoppiness but also grapefruit and resiny bitterness. Really bitter for a Pilsener. It’s tasty but I can’t say it’s balanced.

Tap @ the brewpub.
Almost clear golden color, medium sized head. Nice bitter and fruity hops on the nose right off the bat, slight buttery notes with grass also. Grassy, a bit harsh bitter palate with orange and gooseberries on the flavor. Nice and definitely refreshing. Should be a regular.
