TBone (19190) - Pori, - NOV 11, 2017
Tap at Kaisla. Opaque black colour, small beige head. Aroma has strong smoke and tar. Full-bodied. Roasted malty, smoked, tarry (Tervaleijona candy). Nicely in the balance. Not as hoppy roasted than the original but has more layers.

Turboninja (1021) - Tampere, FINLAND - DEC 16, 2017
[email protected], Tampere, Finland. Slightly bitter nuances with smoky wood, oak, tar, quite a lot of hops. Some roasted coffee. Averagely balanced with medium taste spectrum. Long aftertaste with smoke and some roasted malts. Medium/light body with light/medium carbonation. Overall, suits nicely to the theme, rough feeling of trenches and forest life. A bit light mouthfeel for the percentage. 7 4 7 2 14

Tap at plevna, tampere. Black color, brown head. Aroma has roasted notes, smoke, some coffee. Nicely balanced body, smoke but not too much, coffee notes and also hops at the end. Good smoked stout.

Psytron (2715) - Turku, FINLAND - DEC 9, 2017
Smell of smoke, vanilla. Black colour, brown head. Aroma of smoke, peat, vanilla. Bitter. Soft plentiful carbon. Smoke fits well in Siperia.

UPDATED: FEB 2, 2018 Draught @ Oluthuone Panimomestari
Aroma has smoke and ash. Also pot coffee. Flavour has smoke, tar, ash, pot coffee. Finishes with some salty licorice. The smoke makes this somewhat different from the original SIPERIA. However, after some sips the familiar IBUs come through. The original is slightly better; the hops and smoke altogether leave this a bit messy. This could be better with less hops. Could not locate the oak. Finally a Suomi100 product that does not suck.

200ml draught at Stone's. Pitch black body, scattered lacing from a low, fawn-coloured head. Inviting peaty nose, mid-dry. Rich taste of oak, peat and a backdrop of dark fruits. Lingering aftertaste and mouth filling. Fine depth. A well crafted celebration beer. (Helsinki 29.11.2017).

Draft at the Kaisla, Helsinki, Finland. Enjoyed on Nov 25 2017.
Black color with a tan head. Roasted malt, juniper, smoke, mild peat and hops... Quite unbalanced. I like the original more.

tap @ Plevna
Siperia with smoked malts. Kinda confusing combo of smoke and hops. Gets better when warms up, the licoricy and tar of the smoke plays together well. Almost feels softer this way, but would need comparison. Original is still better.

Tap @ Oluthuone Panimomestari.
Pours black color with a huge beige head. Smoky aroma with the distinct house hoppiness, roasted malts, faint peaty notes, oak and some cocoa. Flavor is malty bitter and roasty, some cocoa, hops, distant fruity tones, finish is slightly sweet with caramel notes. Very easy to drink, smokiness adds a nice touch here. Nice.

0.33 l draught @ William K. Kurvi, Helsinki. Looks similar to the regular version. First sip was extremely bitter, but it got mellower later on. It was still quite dry, probably from hops and maybe from the smoke. I had to confess I didn't taste the smoke really, maybe it had lost in the keg.

Draught. Black in color with a small tan head. Some regular Siperia on the nose plus some smoke. Lots of roasted malts and even more smokey notes in aroma. Bit of campfire vibes. Smokey taste, I get some salty licorice and burnt malts too. Bitter and dry finish.
