Bottle, shared by fonefan. A black beer with a dense, tan head. Some booze on the nose, but mostly roasted malts and chocolate, not to forget the lovely hops. Sweet flavor with some vanilla notes and booze, lots of chocolate and roasted malts, a good hoppy, piney bitter flavor. Full-bodied and warming. The lasting finish has alcohol, roasted malts and coffee. A wonderful beer, tasteful and really pleasant. 100814

Bottled, thanks Hanniku! Very black, beige head. Distinct woody nose. Fairly sweet and full bodied with plenty of licorice, coffee and whiskey, as well as notes of tobacco. Really well balanced, flavourful without being agressive. Great beer!

500ml Bottle (Thanks Hanniku) - Black with a tan head. Hops, coffee, liquorice and whisky feature in the aroma. The taste is hoppy and roasted with liquorice, plain chocolate, soapy hops and liquorice detected. Very tasty.

Bottled 500ml vintage 2010 (Plevna)
Opaque black color, small brown foam. Oak, vanilla, bourbon, licorice and roasted malts in the nose. Also some leathery notes. Served a bit too cold. Full-bodied. Normal Siperia’s hoppyness is blended in this brew with mellow bourbon and oak. Licorice, rubber and burned malts. Pretty succesful barrel-ageing although a bit too burned for my liking. Could be slightly more mellow (like eg. Kaggen). Congrats to Hannu for 10k. These barrels continue their life now at Beer Hunters, where they are used for ageing single malt whisky!

Christian (13815) - Odense, DENMARK - OCT 23, 2010
Black with a small and lasting tan head. Aroma of chocolate, dried fruit, bourbon, oak, vanilla and licorice. Sweet and intense flavour of licorice and bourbon with smoke and hoppy bitterness in the finish. A bit cloying sweetness, but an exciting beer

A Mes rate. Bottle at Chris O’s "Has anyone seen my stool?" tasting.
Black as night with a thin but lasting tan head. Amazing oaky notes. Slight Jack Daniels. Big thick and roasty with plenty of coffee and dark dark chocolate. Good smoky notes in the finish. Very nice beer.

500 ml bottle @ Plevna.
Pours a pitch black colour with a thin beige head. Aroma of bourbon, strong hops and roasted malts. Flavour of sweet bourbon, roasted malts, coffee and dark chocolate. Full bodied with an oily/thin mouthfeel and low carbonation. Very good.
