Bottle at Olutravintola Pikkulintu. Pours black with small dark head. Strong bourbon vanilla aroma and flavor. The strong bitterness and slight chemical aroma/flavor of the original are placed by a beautiful sweetness. Best Finnish beer for me. 50 cl, bottled. Pours black beer with a small light brown head. Aroma: Licorice, dark chocolate, roasted, wood, coffee, fruits. Taste: Sweetish and bitter, balanced. Licorice flavours. Malt. Coffee. Toffee, vanilla. Adequate alcohol, sal ammoniac. Palate: Full bodied, creamy, soft. Pleasant carbonation. Hops and hints of corn whiskey flavours in aftertaste. Highly enjoyable. teddybeer (3891) - Madrid, SPAIN - NOV 24, 2012
[Thanks to oh6gdx]. 50cl bottle. Black colour with minimal tan head that quickly dissapears. Aroma is toasted malts, red fruits, black berries are present, ripe fruit, slightly smoky, wood notes and light bourbon hints. Flavor is similar as aroma, is dominated by toasted or burnt malts. Also noticeable is the bourbon notes, alcoholic in spite of it has ’only’ 8%ABV. The aftertaste is malty, fruity, wood and bourbon notes with a very good duration.. Carbonation is low. Body is high. Texture is oily and dense on palate. tiong (7434) - Espoo, FINLAND - JUN 16, 2010
Draught @ Pikkulintu, Helsinki, Finland. Barrel aged Siperia is just as interesting as the original one. A bit smoother taste with less hoppiness. Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 16, 2010

Draught at Plevna with Hannu. Pitch black with long lasting creamy tan head. Bright flowery-citrusy hop aroma with firm aromas of oak, vanilla, bourbon andlicorice. Rich bittersweet flavor with licorice, lemony hops, bourbon and subdued roastedness. Smooth, very warming palate with full body. The bourbon character is strong but so is the base beer, the balance is fine. In the aging the roastedness has been diminished and smoothed and now the american hops do not clash with roastedness like in the standard Siperia. The bottled version has less hop flavor and aroma and more roast, I prefer the draught version. oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - AUG 11, 2010

Chriso rock the roof down pre-GBBFtasting. (thanks to hanniku for the bottle!). Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is smoked malts, some whiskey, vanilla and roasted malts in a very nice balance. Flavour s being a very nice mix of the same. One of the better whiskey aged beers.
Bottle, shared by fonefan. A black beer with a dense, tan head. Some booze on the nose, but mostly roasted malts and chocolate, not to forget the lovely hops. Sweet flavor with some vanilla notes and booze, lots of chocolate and roasted malts, a good hoppy, piney bitter flavor. Full-bodied and warming. The lasting finish has alcohol, roasted malts and coffee. A wonderful beer, tasteful and really pleasant. 100814 rlgk (18851) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - SEP 18, 2011
