Thanks to Andrè. Black with a beige creamy yet vanishing head. Aroma is very nice, balsamic, with the obvious roasted features and a vanilla touch. Flavourful, creamy, with a slight warming bitter end.

.5l bottle from Plevna itself. Rated at Hanniku’s cave 2.0. Pours pitch black with low tan head. Aroma is dark chocolate, dark malts, burned malts, dark coffee, mud cake, vanilla, caramel, syrup, liquorice, some oakness. Flavor is mostly same. Well balanced! Swell! My Bottom Line:vtafro (7445) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - JUN 29, 2014
Raisins, toasted bread and dark chocolate manage to overcome sherry-like oxidation in this very pleasant Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sturdy sheet of foam tops the pure black.
-Blackberries and licorice are also present. This is a complex dessert brew!
-Resinous hops appear faded compared to a fresher version.
-Mild caramel is also there underneath it all.
-The soft and rich mouthfeel is very enjoyable.
5-year-old bottle. Thx Timo!
Bottle, thanks to Pikkulintu. Black pour with a touch of tan head. Roasted, light fruit, whiskey and oak aromas. Bourbon, oak, dark malts, bit of alcoholic tones.

Bottle @ Olutravintola Pikkulintu, 11/2013. Quite much different than the original Siperia. Interesting whiskey aromas and flavours and less bitterness than regular Siperia. I haven’t been the biggest fan of whiskey barrel "spoiled" beers but found this very enjoyable! wchesser (2110) - Denver, Colorado, USA - APR 30, 2013
From a trade with tiong-thanks, Matias! Very dark black core with some translucency at edges. Big nose of soy and molasses that fades to some bourbon and oak. Flavor the same plus very dark roast but not too bitter coffee and considerable ash on a long finish. Not very viscous bit maybe just the barrel and whiskey thinning, but I am nit-picking. This is top notch stuff...very reminiscent but falls just short of BA Yeti. ration (2253) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 16, 2013

Pours pitch black color with a small off-white head. Aroma of dark chocolate, vanilla, some bourbon notes, dark roasted malts and hops. Flavor of roasted malts, caramel, some bourbon and vanilla, hoppy dark fruits and chocolate. Very nice.
[Thanks to oh6gdx]. 50cl bottle. Black colour with minimal tan head that quickly dissapears. Aroma is toasted malts, red fruits, black berries are present, ripe fruit, slightly smoky, wood notes and light bourbon hints. Flavor is similar as aroma, is dominated by toasted or burnt malts. Also noticeable is the bourbon notes, alcoholic in spite of it has ’only’ 8%ABV. The aftertaste is malty, fruity, wood and bourbon notes with a very good duration.. Carbonation is low. Body is high. Texture is oily and dense on palate.
