Sampled bottle at Porterfestivalen 2013. Black with a light brown head. Aroma: roasted, coffee, hoppy, light metallic. Taste: very bitter, pine and grapefruit, coffee, roasted, resin, salmiak, chili. Medium-bodied. Grew on me after a while into a nice hoppy and bitter stout, but to begin with, I thought it was too much.

A perfect dry stout with deep hoppy flavour. I was expecting a sweeter beer, but was happily suprised to find out there are strong stouts that dont taste like syrup.

From the brewery tap. PItch black body, brown head. Overly hoppy, could be more in balance. Black roasted malt tastes through and gives this a bit of a burned taste. Still interesting one and worth trying.

Draugth at Plevna. Black body, brown to gray head. Aroma has huge amount of american hops for imperial stout, some roasted malts and green feeling. Flavour is ashy malt, really roasted notes and huge overall hoppiness. Very complex malt and hop interaction.

330 ml bottle. Black, with a tihn brown head. Roasted malty aroma with fruits, liquorice and coffee. The flavour is roasterds malty, with coffee and liquorice, and a lingering grapefruity hoppy finish. Excellent stuff.

the beer has a very dominating taste, of which the most overwhelming one is grapefruit. the consistency is nice and the beer sinks well for an alc vol 8 beer.

Turboninja (710) - Tampere, FINLAND - NOV 22, 2013
Semi-strong aroma with a bit roasted flavors of licorice, resin and alcohol. Very dark brown color with brown semi-thick head. The taste has almost everything: strong organic, malty, a bit roasted coffee flavor with wide taste spectrum. But, there is almost none sweetness as the aroma suggests. No licorice, tar etc.. Perhaps a glimpse of chocolate. Palate is too light for this style. Medium carbonation is ok.

Bottle at Smf 2013. Sweet and fruity with hints of caramel, dried fruits, chocolate, roasted malts. Quite hoppy for the style.

UPDATED: NOV 23, 2015 Rerate ()23.11.2015 : 33 cl, bottled. Pours black with a decent beige head, Aroma: Chocolate, coffee, roasted malt. Notes of hay. Taste: Malty, chocolate, coffee flavours. Bread. Nuts. Some hoppy characters, pine, spruces. Palate: Medium body, average carbonation. Licorice in aftertaste. Not bad. (No score changes, 8-4-8-4-16)! ----- cl, bottled. Pours black with a nice tan head. Creamy chocolate comes to mind just by looking it. Aroma: Spruces and roasted malt, cocoa. Taste: Roasted bitterness. Mildly sweet. Pleasant. Roasted flavours, long aftertaste, nutty roast. Roasted malt comes nicely without sacrificing hops. Pleasantly in balance. Excellent. (8-5-8-4-16, 13.11.2013)
