Bottle at home. Pours black with a medium sized tan head. Aroma is fruity/floral hops with malts and cocoa. Taste has roasted malts, coffee, cocoa, dried fruits and flowers. Really interesting fresh and almost fruity imperial stout. Very nice!

On draft. Nose: burnt roastiness, raisins, dried dates, floral hops. Taste: roasted coffee, burnt notes, sweet plums, floral hops and lasting bitterness in the end. Very nice.

Bottle. Pours black with tan head. I had very high expectations to this one... Aroma has some chocolate and roastiness. Taste has ash, roastiness and nothing else much. Very bitter. Very mediocre beer, one of the biggest disappointments in my beer tastings, if not the biggest.

Black colour, foamy tan/light brown head. Aroma has roasted malts and some coffee. Taste is kinda neutral or sweet at first but ends in a bitter finish with lots of roasted malts. Oily mouthfeel, medium body, medium carbonation. Very straight forward imperial stout, really nice.

Delicious bite of black roast and bitter hops. Indeed the hops take pretty much attention, but the roast department is not far behind. Pleasant coffee grind with a sharp and edgy taste. Finishes sweet and chocolaty. Even hints of sweet lactose. Very enjoyable glassful.

UPDATED: NOV 11, 2016 Aistikas, makea, lakua ja makua. Vahva, mutta ei sekoita setti, eli tasapainoinen vahva stout. Maistanko katajaa seassa?
