I rate beers I think significantly better than average, simple as that. I am not into showing off through prolix bloviating. My honest appraisals will offset those who intentionally downgrade excellent beers attempting to appear a snob. . :)

Draught. Very good. Strong taste with some roastiness and a bit of chocolate. Looks nice and black.

From notes: Bottle from Alko last year. Nice malty and a bit hoppy aroma. Full body. Long, bitter taste, some roasted malts. Balanced and somewhat complex overall. Great stuff.

Black color with medium tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, hops and chocolate. Bitter-roast taste with notes of coffee and pine. Full-bodied with low carbonation and dry finish. Excellent balance.

Dark as a black hole. Stingy roasted taste. A hint of hops. Thick oily body, but definitely a stout. Not too sweet. Awesome like Siperia.

Bottle as a gift from Helsinki. BB 11.2017. Pours dark brown, appearing black in the glass, with an inconsistent tan head leaving some scattered lace. The aroma is so nice... Very roasty, at points even ashy, sweet, with a mountain of berry and pine needle bitter hops, and a bit of a musky cat peey note there as well. As it’s warmed, a whiff of mellow booziness appears at times. Tastes more bitter than sweet, which I like. The bitter and roast make for a very soothing effect, but underlaying is a moderate vanilla sweetness. The mouthfeel is soft and smooth, and gets a bit sticky as it warms. Carbonation very thin and only just noticeable. Alcohol hidden. An excellent, stimulating sipper.

0,33 cl from Janne. Thx man!

Long time favourite from Plevna, Pikkulintu and Kaisla, as well as bottled xmas edition from Alko. Now tasted at Bruuveri Kamppi from tap. Strong aroma starts with roasty, resinous and citrus notes. Chocolate and coffee emerge. Appearance is very black but clear, tan foam pours thick with small durable bubbles and distinct lacing. Taste has medium sweetness, and is very bitter. Palate is full bodied, creamy, average carbonation, bitter, long finish. Siperia will teach. Always.

Bottle. Dark brown / black, with a big thick brown head. Aroma has hop, cocoa, coffee and citrus. Taste has malt, coffee. Very smooth mouthfeel with a bitter acidic middle and aftertaste. Almost like tonic water. Lots of character.
