Mukavan syvän tumma väri, sopivan paahteinen ja runsas vaahto. Maku hyvin voimakas, mutta turhan viipyilevä. DIRKDENNEMANN (1) - Bad Bentheim (Gildehaus), GERMANY - JAN 31, 2015 does not count
Has heavy fruit smell, even before drinking. Has taste of chocolade and is a very drinkable beer, even for an imperial stout.Still balance of hops and malt is very good. mtu71 (364) - Oulu, FINLAND - JAN 14, 2015

Bottle at the Dirty Old Socks Tasting, Den Haag, December 2014. Poured a dark mahogany with a thin broken light tan head. The flavour is strong bitter witn a rich alcoholic liqourice bitter palate. Mediun bodied with average carbonation. Beer5000 (6603) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 27, 2014
On tap @ Panimoravintola Bruuveri, Helsinki. Dark brown, almost black body with a small tan head. Nice aroma of roasted, dark malt, coffee and dry fruit, slightly vinous. Flavor has dark, nice roasted sweet malt, coffee, dark chocolate, dry fruit and fine bitterness. Fine balanced body with a solid aftertaste. Smooth and nice, so balanced that it feels less alcoholic and bitter than described. Martinus (4646) - Baarle-Nassau, NETHERLANDS - NOV 13, 2014

Tasting at Bruce’s pad. Thanks to Leighton. Opaque black - brown beer. Good tan head. Palate is light with a fine crispnes. Semi dry. Tangy dark malts and mild dark chocolate. Touch of creamy chocolate and coffee. Mild bretty savoury kick. Whisper of citric hops. Light semi dry finish. Nice.
Bottle split at Bruce’s Pad, thanks to the Leightonator, 04/11/14.
Light black with a decent tan covering that dissipates retaining as spotting and edgework.
Nose is rich dark fruits, light smoke, bitter roast, earthy, cocoa rub.
Taste comprises light booze, spice, earthy cocoa, dark fruit rinds, liqourice.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, warming alcohol in the close.
Decent enough impy but fell a little short of my expectations based on its score!
