330ml bottle, beer gift from Hanniku via Knut Albert, many thanks to both of them. Stored in my cellar for a few years. Coal black body, espresso head, fair lacing. Dark bread on the nose, some impact of dried fruits and liquorice. Solid malty flavours, hints of dark chocolate, wood and bread followed by a long-lived roasted bitter ending with moments of citrus peels. Full bodied. Enjoyable sipper (Shared with Finn and djoeye at a rating session in Troms 10.12.2016).

Pitch black color, small brown head. Aromas of roasted malt, chocolate, raisins, ginger bread dough, figs, sligh hops and alcohol. Slight bitter, roasted taste with coffee, cacao, hops and ginger, leading to a bitter finish. Almost reminds me of a Black IPA.
