mile (3932) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUN 29, 2011
Draught at Kaisla, Helsinki. Amber, hazy, small to average and fully diminishing head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, caramel and fruitiness, some rye - bread, citrus and some grapefruit hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, citrus and grapefruit hoppyness, some caramel and fruitiness, some rye - bread. Finish is average, malty and and lightly sweetish with some caramel, grapefruit hoppyness. OK sweetish rye-IPA, not too much caramel. Aroma is quite weak considering hoppyness in flavor -aroma and flavor are not in balance.

UPDATED: APR 25, 2013 Tap @ Kaisla, Helsinki 19/02/2011. Color is a deep burnished copper with a nice white head. Aroma is of floral hops with some spruce, not as bitter as you’d expect. Some fruitiness there as well. Taste is fruity, citric, again not as bitter as you’d think. Also some spruce and juniper in there. Aftertaste is hoppy with grapefruit and juniper. Palate is full. A very nice IPA with character of its own.

lusikka (7813) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 19, 2010
UPDATED: FEB 28, 2012 Tap @ Plevna. Rated @ 24.6.2009.
Pours an amber colour with a frothy white head which lasts nicely. Fruity on the nose with a great amount of hops, nuts and rye. Fruity and hoppy flavoured with a nice addition of rye which creates a strong body. Notes of pine needles and caramel. Medium/full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonation. Very similar to Severin Extra IPA, but this one has more character. 8-4-8-4-16 4.0

Draught @ the brewpub.
Very similar than the previous rating. However, not nearly as malty as I remembered, low hoppiness as well and has some vegetable notes as well. Severin is better and this is not excellent anymore. 7-4-7-3-15

Finwe (436) - Grankulla, FINLAND - JUN 8, 2010
Draught @ Kaisla. Amber with a thin off-white head. Not completely unconiferous aroma also has notes of citric fruits. A bit of sweetness in the otherwise quite hoppy and bitter taste with characteristics similar to those of the aroma. Dry, bitter finish.
