Almost opaque. Steady dark brown head. Alcoholic and hoppy aroma. Taste is hoppy and warming. This is actually "dry stout": not so smooth palate as Guinness has but so dry either.Long bitter hoppy finish plus some sweet tones in aftertaste. (7/5/8/5/16 4.1)
Re-rated, draught @Plevna
Full. Roasted, hoppy, sweet, lots of chocolate and licorice. Rich. (7/5/9/5/18 4.4)
Draught @ Oluthuone, Tampere. Black color, milk chocolate colored thick head. Aroma: roasted malts, juniper.Palate is thick and oily, almost no carbonics. Flavor is dry and very bitter for stout, alcohol is hiddden well - balanced. Refined beer. FatPhil (16102) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAY 14, 2007

Full malty nose. Beautiful creamy malty bitter and ginger taste. Dark notes of coffee and ginger, but the bitterness is very prominant. A classic well-balanced stout.
Not quite so amazing. Sweet smoky bacon taste, fades to yesterday’s coffee grounds. Beautifully mellow finish, very drinkable.
Draught at OpusK
Almost black, with nice high head (at least six minutes stout before serving).
Fresh taste this time fully roasted, dry. Long lasting aftertaste roasted and hops
My favorite last ten years! jutuahol (190) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - JUL 11, 2004
near black, thick and nice brown head with lots of lace. Roasted, coffee-like and smooth nose. Pretty full body. Taste is also roasted and coffee-like with some sweetness. Long coffee-like finish. Definitely one of the best beers from Finland.

, Helsinki) Very dark, practically black color with a small, cocoa-brown head. An aroma of roasted malt (lots of it!), some coffee and an inch of sourness. Very malty, sweetish flavor with a strong hop bite in the middle, some subtle licorice and coffee character, and a dry, bitter finish. Full-bodied, slightly sticky-sugary, warming palate with well-balanced, low carbonation. An excellent, full-bodied, very well-balanced and warming stout. I only wish this was sold in some stores, too!

Pours a black colour with a medium-sized frothy head. The aroma is dominated with dry hops, roasted malts, coffee and dark chocolate. Medium sweet body with coffee and some hops too. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. Dry finish. Dry stout done right.
Draught at Kaisla. Pours black with some wooden, colaish tinges against the light and a large, thick, foamy, milk chocolate-colored head. Beautiful. Aroma is strongly of piney hops with some roasted malts and coffee underneath. The pour is very cold and as the beer warms up, the coffee and espresso tones become stronger while the pine lessens. One can even detect some bitter chocolate in there. Taste is very piney as well though the coffee and espresso flavors are very strong as well. Again, as the beer warms up, the hops recede and roasted malts and espresso become stronger and dark chocolate shows up with his buddy, liquorice. Palate is full and sticky. tkrjukoff (4335) - SWEDEN - JUL 6, 2011
Tap @ Plevnan, Tampere. Pours clear black brown with a great longlasting beige creamy head leaving nice lacing. Aroma is very malty, roasted, caramel, coffee and licorice. Flavor is quite sweet, roasted, licorice, coffee, bitter and fruity. Very nice longlived bitter sweet finish. lucs (6) - schoten, BELGIUM - NOV 17, 2012 does not count
Gedronken van het vat in Brouwerij. Bier met romige schuim en volle smaak. Een aanrader voor de Stout-liefhebbers.
