hki. Darl brown black, tannish top. Malty, bready, dark bready nose. Softly roasted, some sweet syrup. Med full bodied, quite soft nicely palatable. Malts, some doughy dust, dark bready. Quite allright dunkel. Bit more roasty chocolate than id expected, but nice still. Easy.
Tight 1cm head is fully lasting atop the almost black hue. Fruity, almost smoky blackberry nose. Rather simple, but refreshing brew with a high level of sweetness that is cut by an intense carbonation. Powdery mouthfeel with cocoa, sour berries and nutty intricacies. A lovely take on the dunkel style. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - MAY 1, 2015
Sep 28, 2006 On tap at Wildeman. A bitter and very dark beer, really good. It’s got a creamy head the tastes picks up, from an easy sip to a punchy finish. Sticky and sweet. Kavu (5255) - Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 10, 2015

, Helsinki) Very dark, reddish brown color with very small but lacy, tanned head. A mild aroma of sweetish malt and licorice. Quite pleasant and complex, sweetish but slightly sour, very malty licorice flavor with rye and toffee hints. Medium to full-bodied, slicky, but quite thick palate with low carbonation. An excellent, tasty and full-bodied dunkel! The aroma is a bit weak, though.
Draught. Bit of dark bread, not that sweet anyhow in aroma. Feels very light. Some chocolate and dark
bready notes in taste. Doesn’t feel like a proper dunkel for that matter.

Near black colored, medium sized beige head. Roasted aroma with sweet caramel. Medium bodied. Flavor is even more roasted with slight chocolate, Plevna-flowery character from hops here also. Roastiness and coffee last long in aftertaste with bitter hops. Soft palated. Nicely balanced dunkel. TEJA (3349) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUL 11, 2009
Draught at Plevna. Thick lasting light brown foam. Dark red-brown color. Small aroma without errors. Robust taste with roasted malts and a well balanced bitterness. Erasmus_ro (3240) - Alabama, USA - MAY 7, 2015
Tap @ brewpub. Pours a dark reddish brown with a beige head. Aroma is light ash, smoke, some roast. Taste is fairly darkly fruity, dark malts, some roast. Smooth. Great drinkability. k0mpsa (3181) - Tuusula, FINLAND - NOV 5, 2012
Draught at oluthuone. Black color with light brown head. Roasted aroma, malty. Malty body, roasted, some smoky. Flavors could taste stronger and longer. High co2 for dark beer.
