Where: Speakeasy, Tallinn.
Appearance: Black colour with a tan head.
Aroma: Roasted malt, coffee, hops.
Body: Medium body and carbonation.
Flavour: Fruit, roasted malt, coffee.
Pitch black color with a large, foamy, light brown head. Medium to full body, low carbonation, medium lacing. Earthy aromas of roast, milk chocolate, cocoa powder, coffee, caramel, toasted malts, dark fruits, pine, blueberries, blackberries, resins and yeast. Bitter taste of roasted malts, chocolate malts, dark chocolate, caramel, coffee sediment, resins, burnt wood and bitter herbs. Interesting grapefruit/pomelo bitterness. Creamy mouthfeel, oily/watery texture, well balanced. I simply love it. Greta black IPA. Nikokaoja (296) - Ljubljana, SLOVENIA - AUG 12, 2017
12. 8. 2017, Klimno. Bottled. Really silky and carbonised fullbodied beer. I would have easily mistaken it for stout. Creamy taste with a bitter lasting aftertaste (hops or pines?). Nicely balanced but the absence of a kicker is a bit of a let down. Has potential, but too subdued and held back for me to be a keeper.

Medium aroma of malts, caramel, dark fruit, pine, blueberries, chocolate, roasted malts and coffee.
Opaque black beer with a slight/medium brown head.
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, dark fruit, pine, blueberries and chocolate; ends slightly bitter and dry with roasted malts and coffee.
This beer is intense, complex and balanced. Lovely added Spruce Tips and Blueberries added to an already hoppy Stout. Perfect appearance and a great palate as well, but the aroma could have been stronger.
Draught @ Fermentoren, Aarhus. Pours black with a light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, coffee, chocolate, bitter hops, pine. Flavor is light bitter, roast malt, fruit, bitter berry, juniper, piney. Medium body, average carbonation, bitter finish. 040817

Bottle at Speakeasy. Black color brown head. Aroma of dark roast coffee. Taste is burnt coffee. Decent. ectuohy27 (1191) - ESTONIA - AUG 2, 2017
Meh. Very unbalanced, not much in the way of forest notes at all--straightforwardly hoppy and tis all. Disappointing gnoff (10711) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - JUL 29, 2017

At Speakeasy, Tallinn.
From bottle, if I remember correctly.
Black color, brown head. Roasted, hoppy scent. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Roasted taste. Alcohol aftertaste.
Bottle at hops. Black colour brown head disappears fast. Nose is light roastedness. Taste is low to medium roasted bitterness. Lingering bitter aftertaste. Not very ipa like, would say its an american stout. The additions can only be found if you concentrate hard enough. Grzesiek79 (4314) - Radom, POLAND - JUL 25, 2017
Alez wysmienite piwo. Niemal ideal ciemnego czarnego IPA. Piana to praktycznie sama jest w szklance. Stoji niczym drzewa w puszczy bialowieskiej. Piana jest tak trwala ze do konca picia pozostaje ze dwie jeszcze lyzki stolowe. Jest ciemna. Barwa piwa od razu czarna jak smola jeszcze przed dolaniem osadu. Aromatyczne lesne runo, zapach mchu i iglastych drzew. W smaku zywiczne jagody, borowki, sporo czarnej porzeczki, troche tez smaku ktory kojazyl mi sie z boczniakiem. Wytrawne gozkie. na koniec dlugi finisz w postaci kwaskowej czarnej kawy. Super.
