bottle, nearly black with light brown head.
coffee, hops, pine, toffee, dark chocolate, wood, citric fruits,
medium bitterness, lightly fruity,
medium body. lots of roasted malts - in good balance with also a lot of hops. PowY (699) - AUSTRIA - MAY 28, 2017
330 ml bottle. Pours nearly black with a creamy, light brown head. There is roasted malt in the aroma (dark chocolate, mocha, light burnt aromas, wood) with is nicely balanced by a good hop presence - pine, herbs, citric fruits. Medium to full creamy body with a very low carbonation, a light sweetness and a light to medium bitterness. Flavor of roasted malt, dark chocolate, dark fruits, ash along with herbal, resinous, piny flavors with hints of citric fruits. Overall, rather full of roasted malt but beautifully balanced. I do not get specific blueberry flavors but nonetheless an excellent Black IPA.

Bottled. Black body, small thick brown head. The aroma has malts, some smoke. The palate is syrupy, the taste is great with some forest, smoke and juniper. disfit (36) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 14, 2017
Roasty, coffee nose and flavor. Pleasurable bitter aftertaste. Not getting spruce or blueberry, but I don't care: delicious. BenL8 (181) - SWITZERLAND - MAY 11, 2017
Really have a weakness for this one. Pours black with some head, remains for a long time. Intense aroma of dark malts and chocolate, coffee and spruce tips. Very foresty. Sweet and rich and a little smokey flavour, medium body, rather bitter, spruce tips and also blueberries give a very special, as I said before "foresty", feel. Dark malts again give a nice chocolatey and coffee-like base. Finishes warming and with intense coffee and spruce tips flavours. Love this one! Ritzn (1311) - GERMANY - APR 27, 2017
Black with little brown head. Aroma is grapefruit, cocoa, forest, honey, cherries. Taste is very dry coffee and dried leaves. No sweetness almost no sourness. A bit watery. Not very good. jfb (6231) - GERMANY - APR 27, 2017
