dorain (857) - Berlin, GERMANY - APR 13, 2018

330mml. bottle as part of the European Local Swap 1/2018, many thanks to rosenbergh for this one. Tasted on the 14/03/2018 at home. Black colour with a medium to big beige head. Aroma of roasted matls, burnt coffee beans, liquorice and some cocoa nibs. Taste is roasty and cocoa nibs. Finish is roasty and dusty. Next one please!

UPDATED: MAR 20, 2018 33 cl bottle served in a snifter. Poured black with two finger tan head. Aroma: intense dominating nose of spruce, then beneath the forest assault there's caramel, grassy hops, some chocolate, vanilla, coffee. I don't get blueberries in the nose. Taste: spruce again, then coffee, caramel, bitter grassy hops, chocolate, wet earth andere leaves,, nuts, light notes of blueberries, vanilla. Light to medium body with a long bitter and full of forest finish. Impressive beer, like a walk through the forest or coming home on a cold winter day and to be greeted by the fantastic aroma of the christmas tree.

Black with creamy head. Aroma has quite a lot of piney hop. Flavour has some fruity berry sweetness too. Full flavoured and pleasantly bitter.

bilcho1 (335) - Ruse, BULGARIA - MAR 2, 2018
330ml bottle at a private tasting at Zarazbirachi, Ruse, Bulgaria. Pours opaque with a thick foam-and-froth beige head, heavy lacing but no visible bead. Dark brown in colour. On the nose, complex citrus with hints of smoke. Very smooth in the mouth with fine carbonation. At first, strong citrus flavours, giving way to the burnt toast and molasses of a stout. A perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness, with just a touch of sourness. Overall, a citrusy IPA and a stout in one bottle.

Bottle at home from Malt Attacks, 25th February 18. Pours a fairly viscous black ale, nice neat head and lacing. Aroma is fruity and cocoa. Taste is smooth, fruity, cocoa nibs, bitter for sure, citrus, more dark chocolate bitterness and dusty bitter linger. This is really good, I love this brewery and love a BIPA, fits the slot.

Keg at Mother Kelly’s SE1, London in Jan 2018 - Opaque black in colour. Good creamy beige head. Excellent lacing. Malty; roasty malts, bit burnt, roast coffee, dark chocolate, liquorice notes, caramel. Fruity; citrus, grapefruit, orange. Hoppy; decent hop bitterness, piney hops. Good balance (for a BIPA). Bitter roast malty and citrus fruity piney hoppy throughout. Liked this. Not too OTT. Very decent BIPA. (2018-01)

Niby fajna żywica, ale piwo męczy, goryczka zalega, no tak średnio bym powiedział
