From bottle cloudy colour of honey, very small top. On the nose is actually promising with lots of hops, sweet fertiliser grown strawberries and raisins but the sweetness is largely muted from taste and leaves bitter, smokey and a bit dampened taste. This is still rather good and a medium-heavy beer I was afraid being dissapointed with more then well received what this was. Would add some fruitiness to the taste.

Bottle at Black Christmas 2017
Dark amber and hazy color. Bready aroma. Thin body, some malt, bread flavor. Poor.

330mL bottle, pours a hazy brown with a small beige head. Nose brings out bready malt and toasted nuts. Flavour is similar, with light earth and faded bready malt. Weak body, with not much going on. Not interesting.

Nice beer, I love the malt taste in that beer. Really enjoyable with grilled ribs, taste sensation on its own.

Back in 2008, I had major dental work done. That included application of some medicine that seeped out of my tooth every now and then. The medicine tasted like venom and made me throw up ever so often. Chugging down a pint of that medicine while getting punched by a rabid donkey would be a more enjoyable experience. Tasted to me like someone had fermented bad bread in a prison latrine. Will never try it again.

You can really feel the strength of this beer, and it’s 5,9%! Strong and heavy taste and also strong hazy aftertaste, little bit caramel and woody.

Smells sweet. Color is dark reddish amber. Bit sour taste and very bitter aftertaste. Quite carbonated and bit acid. Palate could be more thicker for 8 different malts :) Overall nice ale for midweek evening :D Bottled 0,33l, batch 003 ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Senka (1097) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAR 5, 2014
33cl bottle. First batch 13/1. Aged for nearly one year. BBE is 1.04.2014 aroma of rye, honey , nutmeg, cinamon. Pours dark orange, with beautiful wholenut colored head. Spicy, rather sweet, strongly reminds honey infused beers. Full bodied for its type. Smooth and with lovely, gentle carbonation. Served in trappist glass, and it suits this beer well.
