Tap at Mother Kelly’s. Amber in colour. So much grapefruit goodness, a solid hop bite. Dry bitter finish. Very good.

Panzerfaust (876) - Hanga Roa, Easter Island, CHILE - DEC 1, 2017
330ml bottle from El Irlandés. Pours bright golden color with a big white head that shows medium retention. Aroma of hops with some fruity and caramelly hints. Strong floral notes with side citrus, zest and lime touches. Taste is mildly bitter with pleasant sweetness. A bit underwhelming for a bottle that costs this much. Interesting as something different, but Pohjala seems to be making alesfor beer raters or tickers instead of great ales for regular drinking.

Nice IPA. Lots of grapefruit, citrus zest, floral. Pours a bright golden orange with a huge, puffy off white head. Bitterness is potent and lingers for a while on the aftertaste. Mild caramel and toasted grain malts, light carbonation. Overall a good IPA.

330ml bottle. Pours clear amber, white head. Aroma is piney, hoppy, grapefruity. Taste follows to nose, more juicier, caramelly. Feels so light and refreshing, no hints of 6.5%. Average carbo. Good IPA!
