On Saaremaa rye has long been one of the main crops. So we’ve made a beer that tastes like a true island brew should- of bread. This unfiltered amber beer is light on the palette and best enjoyed at 8-10C.

Sample from 330ml bottle. Pours dark amber colour. Almost no head. Sweetness, hints of bread, notes of caramel, slught hints of raisins in the taste. Slighly bitter, bit bready aftertaste. Notes of honey as well. Rather light bodied, quite watery, rather low carbonated brew.

VamboladeTolly (2182) - Tartu, ESTONIA - NOV 2, 2016
Bottle. Pours hazy amber with small white head. Aroma: sweet and sour, malty, yeasty, bread, weak banana. Taste: sweet and sourish, yeasty, like bread in the middle when its a bit raw, like a well balanced homebrew at some village. Medium body. Sweet finish. Nice.

Maits (595) - ESTONIA - SEP 6, 2016
Slightly hazy brown coloured beer with tiny beige head. Aroma is bread, rye. Taste is sour bread and mild malty. Light body, good refreshing beer.

My Bottom Line:
Plentiful bread flavors, from both cereals and yeast, float within this rough brew.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam tops the murky dark beige.
-Flavor profile lacks structure and clarity.
-Drinkability is rather low.
-This, in a way, is reminiscent of some Seto Olu. But not the best examples, of course.
-Fruity edges are observed here and there.
