This beer had a light color. I did not care for the aftertaste. I almost tasted a bit like Skoal. MoreHead (355) - Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA - NOV 22, 2005
light and cloudy with a small diminishing head. smells like a band-aid, kind of some orange as well.

The bottle poured a sparkling clear pale yellow beverage with a beautiful full, creamy white head that lasted throughout and had good lacing. The aroma was sweet and had a prominent spicy character to it with clove and pepper being the most notable. There was no hop character that I could detect. The body was medium light with lively carbonation and a slightly thin, crisp texture. The flavor starts off sweet and takes on a slight bitter edge as it matures on the palate. The finish is medium and slightly bitter with a slight alcohol warmth. Ratman197 (14686) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - OCT 13, 2005
Bottle poured a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aromas of bread, citrus and spices. Palate was smooth and refreshing. Flavors of bread, a bit of citrus, mellow spices with a smooth creamy finish. frankenkitty (2012) - Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA - OCT 6, 2005
Bottle poured a hazy golden/yellow with a quick white head. Aromas were fruity and spiced, with clove, lemon and a dash of pepper. The yeast they’ve used works very well for a Wit. Flavor was "wheaty" with light spices and a chalky finish. My wife enjoyed it, so that’s a big plus.

Sampled from bottle. Pours a cloudy, pale yellow with a tall, but quickly diminishing white head. Aroma is brite, floral and spicy. The flavor is balanced and tart with orange and pepper-like spices. Light to medium-bodied, well carbonated and refreshing. Spot on for the style, and a good beer all-around. StewardofGondor (1934) - Washington Heights - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 19, 2005
Cloudy muted yellow in color with a bubbly, foamy head. Cloves, oranges, coriander, vanilla extract and pepper convey the traditional wit aroma. Touches the tongue and the sprits is a bit hot, yet it washes over quickly, leaving flavoring elements of lemons, vanilla and cloves. An atypical crispness comes to play and doesn’t detract. Tiny dashes of pepper help the mixture recede into a calming spice complex. Pepper and cloves are the main staying components throughout. The brewery’s lager rhythms creep up nonetheless and are most evident in the lemony citric acquaintance in the finish. A noble effort when all’s said and done. bottle-pours lightly hazy straw yellow hue with a spritzy white head. estery, light lemon and corriander aroma with light orange. some wierd pork/smokey thing going as well-maybe it was the yeast strain. flavors are light and slightly lemony/fruity. body is spritzy and crisp. a fairly impressive wit from this brewery, but it doesnt compete with the best of the crop. a little too much grain and sourness on the flavors. delmecum (87) - Western Illinois, Illinois, USA - SEP 4, 2005
Thin white head with a very light golden color. A little sour taste with a touch of orange in the back side. It seemed a bit watery. robertsreality (2460) - Minnesota, USA - AUG 11, 2005
Yellow with Big White Frothy Head. Skank Aroma. Sweet and Wheaty Aroma. Coriander and Light Skunky Malt on the Tongue. Overall, Light and Uneventful, But Certainly Drinkable. Actually One of Their Better Brews.
