This beer was kind of disgusting at first. It smelled funny and tasted unlike bocks i have had before, but as i drank it it grew on me and could have had another one if the fn bar wouldn't charge three dollars for this average brew. Shit.

gripweed57 (2794) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - JUN 9, 2017
From old tasting notes. Dark orange copper color. With a brief beige head. Sweet, earthy malt nose. Initially, sweet coco-like malty flavor. Then becoming slightly tart, then dry. Finishes light and dry. Brief dull aftertaste. Rather thin for a bock.

12 oz bottle. Smelled skunky. Tasted awful, astringent flavor, some off roasty notes. Just bad all over. May have been a bad bottle, otherwise, don’t bother with this one.

Not a huge bock fan. But as bocks go this is pretty damn good. A good malty flavor, the hops is faint but present none the less, (greatly appreciated by me) other than that I would definately recommend this brew to anyone.

RSRIZZO (2019) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - NOV 30, 2007
Had this beer on 10/21/1999. Aroma is a light malt scent with slight tones of hop in the back. Color is a nice amber with good carbonation and head. Taste malty and creamy with a crisp finish. It starts with medium body that goes down with a malty feel. Finish is crisp with light bitterness. Overall its well balanced and easy drinking.

Light brown. Nose bit stale, some sweetness and nuts. Flavor very bready and somewhat grainy, some caramel sweetness, negligible bitterness.

Very nice beer. Great flavor. One of my annual favorites. Really like the way this one tastes.

oldrtybastrd (5003) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - FEB 28, 2006
Pours a reddish brown color. Aromas of malt, caramel, and some nut. Flavor malty and nutty with some roast bite.

JohnnyOS (646) - Golden, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 15, 2006
Pours a dark reddish brown with off-white head. Aroma of mostly grains, hops and some maltiness. Flavor followed aroma. Not very impressive. Bad bottle?

gws57 (1276) - Saint Charles, Illinois, USA - JUL 10, 2005
Had this one bottled. This one was a great tasting and quite full bock. Nice body and mouthfeel, sweet, roasted malt taste with notes of peanut and caramel, like a Snickers bar in a bottle. Worth checking out.
