Gylden brun klar med fingerhøyt hvitt skum. Lukter fersken, røde frukter og noe fudgekaramell. Lett. Fruktig sødme mot sydhavsfrukt med lett kort bitterhet i avslutningen.

Bottle. It poured a pale gold color with one finger of a frothy white head. The aroma was citrus and the flavor included grapefruit. The bitterness was mild.

Lots of grassy aroma. Light yellow color with white head. Taste is more grass, bitter citrus. Some cereal grain flavor. Man this unbalanced toward the bitter side. Palate seems about right for a pale ale.

Bottle. A- Fresh cut grass, floral. A- Yellow color, clear liquid, white head. T- Grass, slightly bitter, pine, flowers. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, O- This smelled like I just mowed my front lawn. Usually I hate that smell but for some reason I didn’t mind it here. Really grassy and flower throughout. Fairly light for a pale ale.

Ahuth (623) - Illinois, USA - JUL 22, 2015
Crisp. Not much of a hoppy flavor or a malty flavor. Kind of a bland flavor.

DavoleBomb (1867) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 30, 2015
Poured into a perfect pint. 3.0 A: Clear light orange color. Two fingers of frothy off-white head. Retention is below average and a short ring of irregular lacing is left. 3.25 S: Not a lot going on in this, but it’s still pleasant. Floral and lightly citrusy hops. Mild neutral malt sweetness. Clean. 3.25 T: Taste is pretty much the same as the nose. Not a lot to say. Neutral malt, mild bitterness, and lightly floral and citrusy hop flavor. 3.5 M: Lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Light creaminess. 3.0 D: Pretty much average all around. Not bad, just average. DavoleBomb, Jul 08, 2013

Bottle from Cellar Door, Four Oaks. Pours orange, high carbonation, some sediment, half a finger white head. Aroma of light malts, a touch of wheat, some yeast. Taste of initial malts, then caramel, then wheat, lemon, yeast. Ok.

Inviting soft tropical fruit smell. Easy drinking mellow grass with bitter citrus zesty. Nice crisp sweet pale malts. Really nice understated new world pale. Enjoyed mine a lot.

12 oz bottle for 25 cents from Hy Vee Wine & Spirits in downtown Muscatine. Dark orange and clear appearance with a small off-white head. Aroma of grass, pine, light soap, herbal hops, toasted grains and floral notes. Similar flavor, adding some citrus zest and a mild to moderate spicy hop bitterness. Average body with a light dry finish. Decent pale ale overall.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 2/18/2015. Pours slightly hazy golden straw color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, cracker, bread, light honey, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of bright citrus/pine hops and moderate pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, cracker, bread, light honey, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon/orange peel, pineapple, pine, cracker, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish fora good bit. Damn nice robustness and complexity of bright citrus/pine hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with a nice crisp malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and moderately sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice pale ale. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/pine hops and moderate pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
