Bottled from the grocery on sale cheap. Aroma is of wet dog, taste is similar. Possibly a better alternative than ulta lite as it has a bit of watery body. Not recommended. shrubber85 (11609) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - AUG 23, 2013
Bottle. Perfume and barley malt aroma. Golden yellow with nice head. Lightly sweet barley malt flavor. Very light body. Most macros are better than this. JokerSF (1) - - AUG 22, 2013 does not count
If you’re a Bud light / Miller Light drinker, then this is a good alternative for you. Overall, it’s a decent beer with a pleasant aftertaste and less than average calories. (On a side note: Contrary to what this page states at the top, this beer is 4.1% ALC/VOL per the label.) queenholly (3623) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - JUL 28, 2013
Bottle. Barely perceptible sweet grainy malt aroma - I’ve tried some bad macros that had more to offer aroma-wise. Slightly hazed pale gold with a small white head, no retention. Light sweet grainy malt and very light bitter flavor. Light body, soft carbonation. tablasco (1) - Illinois, USA - MAY 31, 2013 does not count
I thought it was an APA, but it tasted lighter and not hoppy. A golden appearance, hence the name. minimal head, light sweetness, light body. I would drink it again, it was a nice party beer.

Dry, slightly doggy, cereal aroma. Very pale, straw colored, clear. Good cap, fetching lasson the label. Twangy, lightly sweet, light bittering, way-faint diacetyl, a little mineral. Reasonably crisp, like kolsch without bitterness. Not much ale character. Clear, buttery finish. ABC, Betton. PorterPounder (8267) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JAN 12, 2013
Tallahassee, Fl - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - 12 oz bottle. Medium gold sparkling pour - no head retention whatsoever. Aroma is sulfuric in nature, hints of a pencil eraser after erasing a large amount of pencil lead. Flavor is similar to tonic water that is past its prime, some metal shavings, a bit of paper bag. Uneventful mouthfeel. More than the blonde is dropping dead from this one! Ughsmash (7510) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 16, 2012
Bottled. Poured clear, bright golden with a short, sticky bright white head. The aroma picked up toasted grains and a little honey with faint lemon zest and grassy accents.. not much to it. The flavor found light bready malts and a pinch of honey at the core.. light grassy bitterness and prickly carbonation around.. finished quick with corn and a touch of cardboard plus graininess. Light-bodied and watery at a couple points on the palate.. drinkable, but not by any means rewarding. GranvilleTim (1857) - Granville, Illinois, USA - NOV 28, 2012
The flavor wasn’t bad, it was that it had no real flavor. Clear yellow pour with a thin white head. Aroma was faint malt. It was like a beer flavored water- no real taste.
