Served somewhat warm at Fall Brew Review in Wisconsin Rapids (bottle). Can smell honey and yeast. Visible carbonation, light gold. Big, frothy white head. Beautiful lace. Very light in flavor, can taste the honey. Smooth. No bite whatsoever. Doesn't have much flavor, actually. With apologies to our fairer sex raters, this one's for the ladies. UPDATED: APR 10, 2004 I picked up a six pack of this in Wisconsin. It is a very good honey beer. I like it just about as much as Michelobs honey lager and Leinies Honey Lager. Slick (1969) - Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA - JUL 28, 2003
Nice straw color, medium sized foamy white head that had a decent yet not long lasting appearance.Mild malt aroma with a decent honey presence, fairly sweet as well, and just a very faint hop showing.Malty sweet taste with a nice honey taste that isn't overly strong, the malt is the first to show up on the palate then it slowly fades to a mild sweet honey. Its slightly wheaty and definately light, some what watery. The after taste is wheaty with a mild honey accent.Pretty decent if you like a light honey taste but i guess i prefer the sue bee honey over this one, mainly for the heavier honey presence. Good beer for a light. Then again, it is rare to have a bad beer brewed by Point Brewery. whiterabbit81 (244) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - APR 27, 2003
Has a very pronounced ALMOND flavor which tastes quite artificial. Thin, pale, watery. A rather unpleasant mineral water aftertaste.

One of the more enjoyable honey beers IMO. Would benefit from a stronger aroma and flavor does dissapate rather quickly. But nice with dessert or BBQ meal. legion242 (2348) - Richardson, Texas, USA - FEB 28, 2003
Pale urine color; fizzy and thin head; faint honey nose. Not bad, fizzy mouthfeel. Good honey notes. Refreshing. No depth. hennes (934) - Fountain, Michigan, USA - DEC 2, 2002
It's actually delicately made rather than artificial as hell, as I feared. There are some decent flavours here, but they are all shadows of their former selves - whiffs of nostalgia like the straw dust haze of an old barn in late summer. Pjones6738 (500) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 30, 2002
Pale yellow color, slightly malty smell. Tastes like a light beer, but you can taste the honey, giving it a little flavor at least. kmeves (1098) - Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 24, 2002
This a close second (to Leine's Amber Light) as far as the best 'light' beer that I have enjoyed. Nice sweetness. Honey stands out. Color and head are typical american light.
