Aroma is fruityand malty. Taste is sweet and strongly malted. Not bad for the price, it at least bears resemblance to "real"Oktoberfest beers. alexsdad06 (10436) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 21, 2017
12 oz bottle from notes. Pours a clear amber brown color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale toasted malts, caramel, hints of fruit and earth, light hop
character, very plain. frankenkitty (2012) - Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA - OCT 8, 2007
Pours a deep, coppery/amber body with mild carbonation under a staunch, yellowhite head. Grainy, cornmealy aroma, lightly toasted, with mild nuttiness. Low caramel notes in the flavor to a generic malted sweetness. (Compare to a "small beer" made from the second-runnings of a good Marzen.) Afterthoughts of lager yeast and mineral water. Mid-bodied with a sweet & sour finish. Leaves a light coat of sugars on the palate. ’Tis the season for Oktoberfest brews and I’ve tried many superior ones to this over the past month.drewbeerme (3920) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 15, 2007
Note: Mixing 50/50 with Bell’s Oktoberfest is an adequate compromise.

12oz bottle. pours clear copper with white head. nose is pretty corny with some mild sweet malty notes. flavor is corn, mild sweet malty notes, and more corn. too much carbonation and watery. the finish isn’t too bad, some rich malty notes but calling them rich is sort of a stretch. igneous1 (1535) - Davenport, Iowa, USA - OCT 31, 2007
typical orange/brown color (great autumn colors) for an O’fest. head is frothy, beige. aroma has a lot of bready malts and a nice earthiness. flavor is pretty similar with a metallic quality. not bad, but thin.

12 oz bottle. Poured a clear medium orange color. Head was off white with good retention. There was only minimal lace left behind at the end. Aroma was of light butterscotch/buttery caramel. There was also a whiff of steeping barley. Slightly sweet with a hint of malty caramel flavor. There wasn’t any significant hop bitterness or flavor. So so. jbuzz (831) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 8, 2008
Single from Three Cellars.
Sweet and a bit weak light malts. Not bad though. Rciesla (5499) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - OCT 21, 2009
Bottle. Pours an orange amber body with a yellow white head. Sweet malt notes, light earth tones, caramel and cider notes. Overall it rather bland but session able. Eh. Jine (903) - Nutley, New Jersey, USA - NOV 17, 2009
10.26.09 Tap at the Great Notch. A pretty meager oktoberfest really. Nothing redeeming whatsoever. Pass it up ryecatcher (1445) - Bridgeport, Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 14, 2013
Bottle. Pours a clear ambery-copper color, smallish white head not much retention, or lacing. Nose is extremely faint, some malt and candied orange. Mouth is medium bodied, lightly bitter throughout, mildly malty with some orange peel and bread dough. Finishes with some cereal. Unisnpired and extremely average leaning towards sub-par.
