Bottle. Pours mostly clear amber/copper with fizzy off-white head. Aroma is canned pumpkin, nutmeg, toasted malts, light caramel, and faint spicy hops. Flavor is dry with a lightly sweet malt base, great pumpkin flavor that’s not overdone, good spice blend, and a lightly toasted finish. Light/medium body and light carbonation.

Geez, where to start? This is everything I love and hate about pumpkin beers. It smells awesome - cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, pumpkin - everything is good so far. Flavor is the same, but so heavy and cloying that it’s almost undrinkable.

Bottle: The aroma consists of huge pumpkin pie. The might be the most pumpkin pie smelling beer I’ve had...moderate spice with ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, and allspice mixed with light whip cream, graham cracker, and roasted pumpkin. There isn’t any lacing. It pours a hazy reddish-orange with a one finger beige head that quickly fades to a thin film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. The flavor starts with a quick dose of brown sugar that is followed up in the middle by light roasted pumpkin. The finish has moderate-heavy cinnamon, light-moderate nutmeg, ginger, allspice, graham cracker, and a touch of whip cream. It’s medium bodied with light-moderate carbonation and a somewhat sticky mouthfeel. Overall, the aroma is out of this world. For my preferences, the flavor is too heavy on the cinnamon in the finish. Tone the cinnamon down and this is probably one of the best pumpkin beers I’ve had. Even with the strong cinnamon, it’s still very tasty. If you like pumpkin pie, you’ll be hard pressed to not like this beer.

Deep amber pour with watery off white head. Aroma is large sweet pumpkin with nutmeg kicker. Sweet pumpkin, nutmeg, and allspice flavors. Decent bitter finish. Medium body with good carbonation. pretty good for what it is

Copper colored liquid with a tallish beige head. No doubt this is a pumpkin pie spice brew from the first sniff. Cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger all seem to prevail in the nose. I’m looking for either a little crust or malt, but I’m not finding much. Still a nice spicy aroma. This is a bit rough when cooler, and slightly mellows as it warms. Initial cinnamon bite, followed by a little bit of toasted malt. Reminds me of the slightly burnt edge of crust. Quite thick and nearly mouthcoating. This is more a sipper than one to quaff. The finish and linger have a burnt edge that continues from the prior thoughts. Slightly warming. I like it, in a small dose dessert kind of way.

(12oz bottle) fairly cloudy deep copper, fine tan edge bubbles. Nose of real pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, almost like a pumpkin cookie. Taste of pumpkin mash, fruity yeast esters, cinnamon, nutmeg, touch of clove. An excellent pumpkin beer.

Dark orange-amber pour with a white head. The aroma has some nice cinnamon, nutmeg and pumpkin notes. The flavor is a mix of brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin and caramel malt. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Very nice pumpkin ale.
