WOW! I was expecting the usual mild flavored boring pumpkin beer when I popped this open, but was I surprised! Aroma was very weak and I figured I was right. Pour was a nice light brown with a thin off white film for a head. Taste was stunning. Heavy pumpkin pie spices fill the mouth with cinnamon and nutmeg taking center stage. These spices have a nice sharp bite that plays well with the malty sweetness. Deliciously sweet and pumpkinny finish. Next year, once Pumking is sold out I will definitely seek this out! beernovice39 (3270) - Idaho, USA - SEP 26, 2011
Bottle pours a clear copper with a thin white head. Scent is big surprise, pumpkin. Taste is herbs and spices. Capa (3257) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - OCT 6, 2011
Copper with a white head. Nice spicing, light pumpkin, light toasted malts. Medium body. Real nice beer with good levels of toasted malts, spice, and pumpkin. dfinney23 (3255) - Houston, Texas, USA - JAN 27, 2016
Outstanding pumpkin beer with a perfect blend of pumpkin and spice that still tastes like a beer. madvike (3251) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 26, 2014
Bottle - Pours murky rosy amber with a thin filmy off-white head. Nose is PUMPKIN PIE! Holy balls...this might be more pumpkin pie than Pumpking...lots of whipped creaminess, pumpkin puree, pie crust, clove, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg--lots of spicing that balances out the pumpkin sweetness. Taste is the same, though much heavier on the spices. A little warmth on the finish shows the 7.5% a bit. Medium-bodied, a little slick and oily, and well-carbonated. Wow. Only $6.99 a 4-pack and found this one in the mix-six area. I can’t imagine drinking more than one of these in a sitting, but if I want a pumpkin beer, this is probably it.

The beer pours autumn amber with a nice tan head on top. The aroma is light earthy pumpkin and spices as expected, pleasant. The flavor is similar on a light to medium body. The cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and the usual autumn spices with the light pumpkin flavor make up for it. jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - NOV 19, 2014
Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a hazy dark orange with minimal off-white head. Aroma of straight up pumpkin pie. Cinnamon, nutmeg, etc. Taste follows aroma exactly. Probably one of the better beers in this style. Gription79 (2887) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - NOV 15, 2012
Just cracked this open and the aroma is all ginger snaps. Poured from a 12 ounce bottle. Big thanks to ughsmash. Lots of holiday spicing, warming, chocolate, toffee. There is any interesting creamy texture to the mouthful, pumpkin maybe? Very nice. SphinxTX (2875) - Mata Gorda, Texas, USA - OCT 10, 2012
Bottle. Pours deep amber/Orange with off-white head. Aroma has everything a pumpkin pie has...pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon and even doughy crust. Flavor is much the same but add some malty sweetness and it is perfected!! You can even taste the crust in this beauty! Mouthfeel is medium-heavy body with medium carbonation. Overall, I love everything about this brew, the maltiness, the flavors, the balance....EXCELLENT brew!!! troyc (2869) - Illinois, USA - MAY 2, 2014
[Bottle] Ruddy orange pour with a large amount of dense white head on top. Strong aroma of nutmeg, ginger and pumpkin pie spices. Taste is similar, with rich dark breads, pumpkin, dark brown sugar and allspice. Thicker palate than expected. Good balance. Hands down the best thing I have had from Point. Tasting notes from 12/2011.
