Pours a transparent orange amber with a thin, wispy-lacing off-white head. Aroma of sweet caramel malt, some toasty nutty notes and good cinnamon and nutmeg spice with a healthy dose of pumpkin. Starts with good fullness and nice malty sweetness and spice balance to accompany the pumpkin flavor. Finishes drier and bittersweet with some lingering allspice. A pretty good pumpkin ale. Bottle. Poured clear dark orange color with an average off-white frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Solid spicy pumpkin pie aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy pumpkin spicy sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. Solid seasonal beer.

Bottle. Pours amber with an off white head. Big pumpkin spice, cinnamon and nutmeg aroma with some honey sweetness. The flavor isn’t quite as good. Pumpkin, nutmeg, and a light sweetness. Not bad. wlajwl (6749) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - SEP 13, 2011
UPDATED: SEP 23, 2013 Aroma is pie crust, spices/cinnamon, slight mustiness and a hint of pumpkin. The flavor is spices/cinnamon, bread/pie crust, a hint of fruit and a tart finish. Gooball201 (39) - Parsippany, New Jersey, USA - FEB 16, 2014
Best pumpkin. Taste is just like Thanksgiving dessert. Sad it is over but time for all Spring seasonals.

Thanks cards04. Dark orange body with sediment and a orangey/brown head, not much retention, though. All the pumpkin pie spices in the aroma. Taste is also quite sweet and full of fall spices. Abv well masked. Quite nice. HoppyScallywag (339) - Butler, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 4, 2014
Nice aroma and color. Definitely an autumn beer with a creamy froth. Not so much on the pour but on the throat. The taste is like an SA Octoberfest but with just the right amount of pumpkin and spices. I would get it again if it was priced right. Certainly drinkable.

Pours a murky copper orange with a small off white head with tiny bubbles that settles to a ring and not much lacing. Actually pick up pumpkin in the rounded aroma as well as cinnamon, nutmeg, graham cracker and thankfully just a mild amount of clove. Taste is a little more reserved than many pumpkin beers with the toasty malt and caramel flavors coming through as well as the typical pumpkin and spices. Cinnamon, nutmeg and mild clove. Even a hint of vanilla sweetness. Mouthfeel was prickly with a medium body and high carbonation. I enjoyed the more tamed pumpkin ale flavors and more prominent malt character but thought the high level of carbonation hurt the mouthfeel while helping to scrub some of the more intense spice flavors away. Very good pumpkin ale.

Pours a dark brown/caramel color. Not much head. Nice aroma of pumpkin, spices. Medium body and carbonation. The spice flavor is a little too prominent in the taste, but overall this is a decent pumpkin beer.
