From the aggressive pour I got a two finger tall soapy head which is light tan in color. It quickly fades leaving just a thin film covering with slightly thicker ring at the edge. Under this is a deep amber body with good clarity and nice visible carbonation. There is pie spice and sweet malt in the nose here with just a hint of herbal hops coming through as well. As the aroma foreshadows there is a sweet bready and almost pie crust like maltiness with a heavy hit of pumpkin pie spice. Cinnamon and nutmeg are the standouts. The pumpkin/squashy character is light but noticeable. The finish has plenty of lingering pie spice and a little herbal flavor with mild hop bitterness. I also notice a little of the 7.5% ABV here too.

12oz bottle thanks to Ed5388. Poured a good looking deep almost reddish amber body with a smaller light beige head. Aroma is really nice, lots of cinnamon heavy pumpkin pie, nutmeg, pie crust. Medium mouthfeel with fizzy carbonation, average aftertaste. Flavor is lots of spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin meat, grain, toast crust, vanilla. Pretty solid.

Bottle from trevor. Pours orange/brown with off white head. Spice rack in a bottle...smells exactly like pumpkin pie. Sweet pumkin pie flavor, cinnamon and clove. Tastes natural...no artifical aftertaste. Nice

Bottle. Pours mostly clear amber/copper with fizzy off-white head. Aroma is canned pumpkin, nutmeg, toasted malts, light caramel, and faint spicy hops. Flavor is dry with a lightly sweet malt base, great pumpkin flavor that’s not overdone, good spice blend, and a lightly toasted finish. Light/medium body and light carbonation.

UPDATED: NOV 5, 2015 Intrigued by this at the 2015 Lakeshore Beverage Trade Show in Chicago, so I was generously offered a 12 oz. bottle to enjoy once more at home. Poured to a mini Czech-pils glass, showing a clear, coppery amber color, with a frothy, persistent layer of tan head foam, and lacing of clingy ribbons & spots. The nose presented some caramel apple sweetness to start, then a perfumey, expressive, and balanced blend of pie spices, with an additional scent of pumpkin puree. Medium bodied, with decent carbonation, the taste added a bit of estery tanginess, moderate, earthy bitterness, and a touch of alcohol warmth to the finish. Sometimes I’ve missed with Point offerings, but this was a successfully balanced & tasty seasonal. Next time on tap at Miller’s Ale House in Lombard, IL.. Same clear, coppery amber and presentable head & lacing, with an aroma of expressive pie spices highlighting cinnamon & clove, with mellower nutmeg toward the back. Pumpkin was more evident in the taste, along with a medium, earthy bitterness. Same successful outcome.

Good beer. Big aromas and flavors of pumpkin and spice. Hints of sweetness but slightly masked by the nutmeg and cinnamon. Nice coppery-orange color. Full body.

UPDATED: AUG 29, 2015 Pours amber brown. Overwhelming pie spice aroma. Spice blend overpowers the pumpkin flavor a bit. Warmth on the way down. Re-rate: lots of nutmeg. Gingerbread-like flavor, mild fruity pumpkin. Pretty nice. +6

Picked up a four pack at Discount Liquors in Waukesha, WI. Pours a dark copper colored brew with a thin beige head that has some nice lacing. Aroma of mostly nutmeg and clove with a hint of caramel. Taste is medium bodied, a touch spicy with flavors or caramel, nutmeg and white pepper. Finish is semi-sweet, spiced, with a lingering nutmeg and white pepper aftertaste. Very drinkable.

Copper with a thin white head that’s gone much too soon. Aroma of nutmeg, cinnamon along with sweet and spicy malt. Taste of pumpkin pie with pumpkin, cinnamon and strong nutmeg and some noticeable alcohol to boot. Finishes up dry and very spicy. Decent.
