WOW! I was expecting the usual mild flavored boring pumpkin beer when I popped this open, but was I surprised! Aroma was very weak and I figured I was right. Pour was a nice light brown with a thin off white film for a head. Taste was stunning. Heavy pumpkin pie spices fill the mouth with cinnamon and nutmeg taking center stage. These spices have a nice sharp bite that plays well with the malty sweetness. Deliciously sweet and pumpkinny finish. Next year, once Pumking is sold out I will definitely seek this out!
Good beer. Big aromas and flavors of pumpkin and spice. Hints of sweetness but slightly masked by the nutmeg and cinnamon. Nice coppery-orange color. Full body. Sirmixsomewhat (266) - Paoli, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 29, 2016
This is one of the best pumpkin beers Iíve ever had. The pumpkin flavor is at the forefront and it has such a nice sweetness to it. It almost tastes like itís a mix of pumpkin and maple syrup, and itís fantastic. dlihcsnatas (740) - Temple, Texas, USA - NOV 25, 2016
Hazy orange with small head that hangs on for a little while. Smells of spices and freshly baked pumpkins, oh man the aroma is so good, just like pumpkin pie. The aroma was just a preview because this tastes just like pumpkin pie. Fairly thick and creamy, by far one of the best pumpkin ales I have ever tried. Had this one last year and loved it then too. Not sure why I didnít get it on Ratebeer but got it on here now. This beer would be well stocked in my fridge if it wasnít for that price tag. It is a bit more expensive and comes in a four pack. So guess this will be a four pack each year and nothing more and for that reason overall the cost lost points with me. Still a VERY good brew! Relatively few spice-infused pumpkin ales deliver on the promise of tasting like pumpkin pie in beer form. This is one of those. TizzleJizzle (791) - Garland, Texas, USA - OCT 14, 2016
12 oz bottle. Nose of straight pumpkin pie. Poured a murky amber brown with a beige head. Taste of pumpkin, sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Well carbonated, full bodied. Wow, this was a pleasant surprise. Arguably the best pumpkin ale Iíve ever had.

Sample from bottle at Hy-Vee Oktoberfest. Poured amber, white head. Aroma was pumpkin pie, nutmeg, cinnamon. Taste was sweet, pumpkin pie. mrjaxson (574) - .08 Junction, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 9, 2016
Liquid pumpkin pie -- nothing else comes to mind. A 3-oz sample of this tonight was just perfect. njnut (486) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - SEP 6, 2016
Pours a light brown with limited head. Not much co2. Aroma and taste of pumpkin pie. Spice note stronger in this one. A bit too much for me itís kinda like drinking a fall candle. If you like that liquid pie style fall beer this is for you. ESPh (133) - Branchburg, New Jersey, USA - SEP 3, 2016
Pours a dark brown/caramel color. Not much head. Nice aroma of pumpkin, spices. Medium body and carbonation. The spice flavor is a little too prominent in the taste, but overall this is a decent pumpkin beer. Gespuccian (141) - Wisconsin, USA - MAR 28, 2016
Seriously good for a pumpkin ale. Tastes like a great pumpkin pie - enough sweet that you know itís a dessert, but enough spice to keep it from being cloying. Great mouthfeel from the pumpkin as well, making it feel full and lush. All three flavors play together well - the spice, the sweet, the pumpkin - in the nose, the flavor and palate, and the lingering finish. Easily one of the best pumpkin ales Iíve had, and Iíve had my share.
