Draught at Andys Corner bar. Very comparable to Southern Tier Pumking but better. Dark copper orange in color, with a little off white head. Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Pumpkin pie spice aroma, tastes so close to pumpkin pie. Light malty hoppy notes. Light pumpkin pie, nutmeg, cinnamon flavor with light bitterness notes. Full bodied. Finish is malty and dry and enjoyable. Very drinkable.
Bottle via trade from backlog notes. Pours a clear amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have caramel malts, pumpkin, pumpkin pie spices, some earthy notes, not bad for a pumpkin beer, a touch thin. kevinator (2443) - The Colony, Texas, USA - MAR 5, 2017
Good beer. Big aromas and flavors of pumpkin and spice. Hints of sweetness but slightly masked by the nutmeg and cinnamon. Nice coppery-orange color. Full body. Sirmixsomewhat (266) - Paoli, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 29, 2016
This is one of the best pumpkin beers I’ve ever had. The pumpkin flavor is at the forefront and it has such a nice sweetness to it. It almost tastes like it’s a mix of pumpkin and maple syrup, and it’s fantastic. dlihcsnatas (761) - Temple, Texas, USA - NOV 25, 2016
Hazy orange with small head that hangs on for a little while. Smells of spices and freshly baked pumpkins, oh man the aroma is so good, just like pumpkin pie. The aroma was just a preview because this tastes just like pumpkin pie. Fairly thick and creamy, by far one of the best pumpkin ales I have ever tried. Had this one last year and loved it then too. Not sure why I didn’t get it on Ratebeer but got it on here now. This beer would be well stocked in my fridge if it wasn’t for that price tag. It is a bit more expensive and comes in a four pack. So guess this will be a four pack each year and nothing more and for that reason overall the cost lost points with me. Still a VERY good brew! Relatively few spice-infused pumpkin ales deliver on the promise of tasting like pumpkin pie in beer form. This is one of those.

12 oz bottle. Nose of straight pumpkin pie. Poured a murky amber brown with a beige head. Taste of pumpkin, sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Well carbonated, full bodied. Wow, this was a pleasant surprise. Arguably the best pumpkin ale I’ve ever had. ozzy70 (1211) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - OCT 14, 2016
Sample from bottle at Hy-Vee Oktoberfest. Poured amber, white head. Aroma was pumpkin pie, nutmeg, cinnamon. Taste was sweet, pumpkin pie. mrjaxson (607) - .08 Junction, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 9, 2016
Liquid pumpkin pie -- nothing else comes to mind. A 3-oz sample of this tonight was just perfect. njnut (486) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - SEP 6, 2016
Pours a light brown with limited head. Not much co2. Aroma and taste of pumpkin pie. Spice note stronger in this one. A bit too much for me it’s kinda like drinking a fall candle. If you like that liquid pie style fall beer this is for you. ESPh (135) - Branchburg, New Jersey, USA - SEP 3, 2016
Pours a dark brown/caramel color. Not much head. Nice aroma of pumpkin, spices. Medium body and carbonation. The spice flavor is a little too prominent in the taste, but overall this is a decent pumpkin beer.
