Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of SecretSanta himself. Pours a very dark brown with a tint of red and a beige head. Aroma of licorice and roasted malts. Solid body, roasted malts, dried fruit and again licorice. Dry finish, but a bit on the sweet side - no malt astringency. Subtle. 100410 Leighton (22084) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 19, 2012
Bottle shared with Chris in NYC. Pours rich black with a fine, beige foam head. Aroma holds lots of sugary, dark malts, some cocoa. Big sweet flavor, burnt toast, baking cocoa, chocolate syrup, burnt leaves, earth. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Light warmth to finish, plenty of sweet chocolate, some dark leather, rich and dark fruits, ripe bananas, faint earthy roast. Decent.

Milky vanilla flavor, candy, figs, raisins, toffee, roasted, milk chocolate, licorice, some plums. Decent but a bit on the sweet side. Milk chocolate finish with some vanilla and figs. bhensonb (15630) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 11, 2011
Bottle from Half Time. Pours really dark brown with a slight creamy beige head. I really can’t find words for the aroma other than treacle. Med minus body. Flavor is pretty much treacle. There’s some balancing bitter, but that cuts the sugar not the flavor. Not even getting a lot of burnt malt. Treacle. Tmoney99 (14869) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 2, 2012
Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured a black color with an average frothy brown head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy roasted chocolate and small hop aroma. Moderate to heavy dark sweet malt flavor with a moderate to heavy sweet finish of average duration. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. This beer met my expectations.
