Review: Bottle of Cerveza Polar: ABV:5.00% The Polar Pilsner from Venezuela, the vacation beer perfect for the beach and served ice cold. The appearance wasnt too bad, looked good. On pour, a nice white head developed which quickly dissipated. The beer was a pale, yellow colour, and with some thin lacing I found the aroma was pretty strong, a very acute smell, very sweet, of malts, grain, very citrusy. I did like the smell. Taste was interesting. I did taste what felt like some fruit, lemon and apples. This beer tasted more like a fruit juice than a beer, very sweet. Was very easy to drink, had a good flavour and taste on all fronts, grainy and sweet malts. Easy to drink, nice good mouthfuls, a nice feel on the tongue. Not a strong beer, and no strong aftertaste, but still pretty sessionable, with a very crisp, clean finish and smooth to drink. Not a bad beer overall. Can imagine it must be nice sipping it ice cold on a beach near the Caribbean.

Unspectacular imported pale lager of the European-inspired variety. At least its not in a green bottle.

7 oz bottle from Barbs trip - thanks! Tastes much like an average pilsener but psychologically it was so much better since it came from overseas.

Bottle from Sterk Avondverkoop. Pours pale gold with a white head. Aroma is bready, mildly grassy. Med minus body. Flavor is bready, mildly grassy. Maybe a bit better than the typical Latin pale lager.

7oz Bottle schlepped back by Eric A, Thanks for the hookup my mule :) Pale yellow color, bubbly white quickly dissipating head. Pilsner maltiness with a hint of metallic and little else. Not horrible, I could drink these if I had to.

25cl Bottle Appearance: A very pale golden beer with hardly a white head Aroma: lightly malts and with dusty hops and hint of floral trace. Taste: Watery cornflakes, pale malts and maybe some citrus hops of the bag which stood in front of the tanks. Light dry finish. Thin watery, average carbo Non of offensive watery Lager, which distribution probably worked well for the nice looking bottle.

Couleur a peine jaune, aucune mousse. Aucun nez. Gout quasi neutre, a peine on denote du malt.
