COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sometimes, the English language just doesn’t have a word for something. There are words like YOLO, twerk, and OMG, but for some reason there isn’t a plural word for “you.” Sorry, but “ya’ll” or “youse” or even “you guys” doesn’t quite fill the lexical gap. Our Lexical Gap IPA is straight west coast, you guys (see what we did there?). Brewed with massive amounts of Citra, Centennial, Simcoe, and Columbus hops, finding a word to describe your gratification might be pretty tough. Most expletives, however, will probably suffice.

Can at Janoinen Lohi, Helsinki. Pours hazy amber with a little white head with lots of lacing. The aroma is substantially hoppy and fruity; it features fresh citrusy fruitiness with a touch of the exotic. Taste is medium bitter initially, later rising and acquiring potency. The usual citrusy elements are supported by tropical fruits like mango. The palate is medium-bodied and very smooth. Richly fruity and hoppy and also very drinkable. Excellent west coast style IPA.

Tasted from a pint can. It poured slightly hazy golden hue with a bubbly off white head leaving plentiful splotchy lacing. Potent orange hop aroma with hints of grass. Bold grapefruit hop taste with mild bitterness and a bit of alcohol on the finish. A solid IPA that delivers with 7.3% ABV.

33cl bottle from Alko Stockmann, Helsinki. Pours slightly hazy orange to amber with a fairly small, off-white head. Fruity and solidly hoppy aroma with a fair amount of tropical fruits, some citrus, pale malt and hints of herbs and alcohol. Medium sweet with fruity and hoppy flavours and a balanced bitterness. Balanced and easy to drink. Rather nice.
