Aroma and flavor is piney hops, malts, somewhat bland/watery in the middle and a sweet/bitter finish. Not bad, but middlling and kind of bland, passable.

Had this on draft in a pint glass at Montgomery Inn. This is one of those annoying house-labeled beers that you know is some cheap-ass mass produced thing that macro breweries allow restaurants to label themselves to trick dumb customers into thinking they’re having something special. This one used to be called "Ted’s Pail Ale" but now is labeled "Ted’s Amber Ale" (which is honestly more accurate, based on the color of this pale ale), and it’s always on at the Montgomery Inn Boathouse location. I’m not sure about the others, but I go to this place once a year for a company outing because I think it’s grossly overrated. The beer itself pours a clear amber-gold with a small, lasting white head. Bready and biscuity and crackery malts surround a very mild hop bitterness, just faint citrus and grass. Light-medium bodied, with moderate to medium carbonation and a soft, malty, lightly bitter mouthfeel. It’s not bad, but dull.

Draft sold as "Home Rune Ale" at Nationals Stadium in Washington DC. Served in a plastic pint cup, deep reddish-copper color with off-white head. Aroma notes of faint caramel malt sweetness and light citrus hops. Taste adds toast with light pine hop bitterness. Light body, moderate carbonation, creamy with minimal pine/citrus finish. Just alright, a decent step above the average macro at a steep $10 ballgame price.

Carlisle (841) - Pennsylvania, USA - APR 12, 2015
Draft at Miller Park (costs a dollar more for 20 oz. than a 24 oz. regular domestic). Deep copper color with slight, faintly beige-colored, head; some lacing. Faint caramel aroma with a hint of corn. Caramel upfront with hints or corn. Slight piney hoppiness in the finish. Not a bad ballpark beer but nothing spectacular; not worth the extra buck when it's 4 oz. less. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A nice looking beer with a distinctive after taste. Reminds of a light red/amber ale.

Red amber brew topped by off-white head. Roasted malt, biscuit & lightly floral aromas. Toasty bread, malt & slightly hoppy back end. Tasty.

Nothing special at all about this beer. I am pretty sure it was just called as it is. Forgettable.

Amber in color with an off white colored head. Medium, creamy body and slightly caramel.

Brewed under the name "Bret Farve’s Voo Doo Brew" this was served a light red/amber tapper with a moderate head and lacing. Aroma was slightly sweet malts with a fruity/piney hop background. Taste was malty and smooth upfront with a light to moderate fruity/piney hop finish. Palate was decent. Overall, not a bad brew. Interestingly enough the bar tender @ Bret Farve’s Steakhouse told me the brew was essentially a mix of Liene’s Red and Original. It tasted like it too.

Draft at Montgomery Inn as Ted’s Pail Ale. Pour brownish amber. Very thin head. Nose sweet malt, faint citrus hop. Macro sweet malt up front. Slight mineral mid palate. Sharp bitter finish.
