From polycask (gravity dispense) at Great British Beer Festival, day 4 on 5 August 2011. Orange amber colour. Completely still. Massive rum presence. Some woody vanilla notes. Came over as a bit sweet but the rum cask treatment can do that. Easy drinking for the strength. Although the rum tended to dominate I didnít find that off-putting in a way that it can be sometimes. Very tasty and enjoyable.

Deep hazy amber colour, no head. Aroma is rum, fruits, apples, some alcohol and mild wooden notes. Flavour is rum, apples, alcohol, wood, yeast, some mild riped fruits as well. Really pleasant. I could have just stopped rating right there, and bought this on and on for the rest of the day.
Bottle, 1 pint, a milk-bottle-like one, definitely not looking nice. The looks of the cider is much better, golden in color and without any head or carbonation. Very vinegary nose with lots of apples and an orchard touch. Itís too dry in the mouth, medium bodied, with lots of vinegar and apples. Really puckering for a medium dry cider. Really nice aroma, the flavor isnít in the same league. 100814 mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 8, 2010

Light unclear medium orange color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy apple, rum, barnyard, wood, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and vinegar, aceton, alcohol, chicken butt dry, dry dry with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic, very dry soft, acetic.

2010-07-31. Crisp golden body. Very musty, lightly woody sweet aroma, hints at the barrel. Flavour has a modest boozy kick, dry finish leaves the mouth quite dry. 6+ Average to light bodied palate. Shows off the rum barrel at the expense of the underlying cider. Interesting but hard to drink in any significant quantity. 2009 Vintage, Medium Dry, 8.4% Single Variety Dabinett Apples, Cask at Middle Farm, Lewes KimJohansen (10492) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - AUG 14, 2010
Hazy orange with an off white head. Very sour aroma with plenty of acetone, lacto and natural apples. Very sour flavor with loads of lacto, acetone, natural tart apples and towards the end it became very dry. Sour and dry, lovely! Pinball (12061) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 14, 2010
cloudy yellow, almost no head.
aroma is flowery and cirtryssy with an underlying note of pretty sour tartness.
flavor is very acid yet not that sour, vineagra. pretty strange but okay.
