Brewery has since this beer was sold changed name from "Poppelmans" to "Poppels".

courtesy of Per - very dark brown beer under a solid long lasting foam, creamy and beige; dark chocolate and roasted malts in the nose, lot of vanillapresence; pretty sweet and with a decent malt backbone; velvety palate, some residual sweetness and long notes of chocolate and vanilla again in the finish
