COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Originally only a single batch was made named "Poppels Projekt 001 Dubbel IPA".
By popular demand and winning "Best Swedish Beer 2013" by members vote at BeerSweden was decided to continue in production, though with the same recipe as the project beer.

New batch was released March 1, 2014, at Systembolaget under the (website) name "Poppels Dubbel IPA (nr 88888)".

Mango tropical feast, with a touch of caramel, really nice and oily body that covers well the alcohol, one of the great imperial IPA s.

Beställning SB. Doft av tropiska frukter och karamell. Fantastiskt fruktig med en välbalanserad maltbas.

Hopmaestro (1653) - Örebro, SWEDEN - OCT 29, 2014
The aroma takes you on a journey into the deepest forests where grape fruits, lemons and oranges grows together on pine trees (weird, huh?) and the taste enhances that feeling three-fold. This could be one of the best Swedish DIPA’s around.

olsvammel (7220) - Örebro, SWEDEN - OCT 18, 2013
Bottle from Systembolaget. Powerfull hop aroma on the nose, tropical fruits, pineapple, passionfruit and citrus. Similar taste. Sweet malt base and pleasent strong bitterness. Very nice beer.

esox (1225) - Oulu, FINLAND - SEP 27, 2014
Bottled. Slightly cloudy amber color, creamy head. Skunky/resinous hop aroma is strong, loads of floral notes too. Grainy base malt aroma, pale caramel, strong juicy citrus fruitiness. Medium dry. Heavily resinous and bitter finish. Almost full bodied, fresh, prefect carbonation, resinous finish. Wow, this works!
