On tap @ Lost Abbey, RBSG. Clear copper-golden color, sparse white head. Clean, slight toasted grain and corn aroma. Smooth golden grain taste, slightly sweet on the back end. Decent. Ughsmash (7510) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 11, 2008
On tap at Lost Abbey. Poured clear, healthy golden with a well-retained cap of sticky white head. The aroma found soft sourdough and lemony notes upfront with other pale malts and clover honey behind.. quite nice. The flavor had a pale malt and light honey core with spicy black pepper and tart lemon riding the edges.. just a touch too tart, which threw off the balance a little. Light-bodied and tart overall on the palate.. slightly sticky on the back-end, otherwise refreshing. yespr (47380) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - AUG 6, 2008
RB#5700: From tap at the brewery. Pours clear and golden orange with a lacing white head. Mild caramel malt aroma but rather vague. Light caramel flavour and clean brew. Mild bitterness into the finish. As told: a beer brewed for those visitors that don’t really like beer :) StefanSD (2468) - Ouray, Colorado, USA - AUG 4, 2008
UPDATED: DEC 29, 2008 On tap at RBSG at Lost Abbey. Pours a light copper color with a small off-white head. Aromas of lightly roasted barley and bready yeast. Tasted of malted grain and molasses. The mouthfeel was light and a bit astringent. Finish was short and dry. Overall: A very sessionable pale lager. Very tasty. mgumby10 (1856) - Jupiter, Florida, USA - AUG 4, 2008
Pours a clear amber gold, with a small off white head. Smells of lively crisp grain, caramel malt, and a subtle hop presence. The flavor is of pretty malty characters, nothing too exciting, but decent for a pale lager. Pretty easy drinking, real smooth and fairly flavorful for the style. The grain isnt overpowering and there wasnt anything really offensive about it. Just simple is all.

On-tap at PPSC. Pours light yellow with a moderate white head, specks of lace. Smells crisp and malty, slightly sweet. Tastes crisp and clean malty with a bit of hay and some earthy hops. Thin, semi-dry body, vibrant carbonation. Oakes (18756) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 11, 2008

Just for shits and giggles I checked out the Amigo. Golden colour, with slight amber. Decent bubbly head. Unionmade aroma simply reeks of corn. Quick and bland. Decently made but boring, and even a small glass is a bit painful.
on tap at Solana Beach, not bad at all, it for sure isn’t on par with alot of their brews, but I think its great this style is brewed by a great brewer, its very drinkable, low alc.% and nice on a hot day, with a nice pizza! malty brew, some grain flavors, slightly fruity, nice drinking beer! Draught Small white rim over pale copper-metallic coloured beer. Almonds, pale and lightly coloured malts. Sweet malts, again this almondy flavour. Ends a bit empty, slightly bitterish. MF is NOT empty, even quite some grist slickness. Very special lager - not a Pilsener. Snojerk321 (2984) - San Diego, California, USA - MAR 29, 2008
Tap @ the brewery. If I ever need to get a keg to "please the masses".....this will be the one. A clear golden yellow pour, medium sized head. Nose of light hops, grain and some yeast. The best pale lager I’ve had to date!.
