On tap at Downtown Johnny Browns in SD. Rich gold with a white head. Deceptively thick beer for the color. This tastes very wheaty to me! While this is not outstanding, I find it to be very good for a "mexican" beer.

Needed this for a break from real ale fest, good crisp clean beer but not much flavor, corn aroma and flavor note apperant. Could not drink more than a pint.

Golden lager colour with minimal head. Aroma is light malts and a little lime. Fresh and citrusy flavour but a tad thin. Still like other Mexican beers it goes down well on a hot afternoon.

Tap. May 7,2006 (P.P. Carlsbad) Pale golden. Slightly hazy. Very small head with a Light body. The aroma is Champange, grapes, barley and malts. Clasical pale lager taste with some bitter hops at the end. Lots of fizzyness. Flavors of white wine, barley, malts and bittering hops. Gassy.

Draught at Pizza Port Carlsbad
Pale gold color, no head or lacing. The nose is light and spicy with some lime flavors contributed from the lime wedge they added to the edge of the glass. Along with that theres some light toasty malts and a light adjuncty flavor. Mexican lager? Cant be mexican if it aint skunked! Nice fresh and crisp hoppy edge in the tail and overall an awesome pale lager that I could definitely drink again.

First beer of night at Pizza Port. Extremely light some butterscotch flavor that was distracting. Clear with no head. Came with limes which helped. Better than Corona

Tap @ Carlsbad: Clear pale yellow. Sweet malt and corn in both the aroma and flavor. Clean on the finish. Drinkable. COuld be very good if you like the style.

On-tap at the brewpub: Nice clear pale gold yellow color with a smallish whitish cap of foam sticking around the top. Small bands of strings and some spotty lace stick as its consumed; and consumed quickly. Aroma is crisp and grainy like that of mushy Cheerios. Taste is absolutely wonderful for such a simple lager. Outstanding whole grain taste. Cereal crispness of Cheerios and Chex with a great wheat grain finish thats never, ever too tangy. It fits right in with a light toasted breadyness as a small dry hopping of a Czech pilsner style fades off the end with amazing grain taste. Feel is clean, crisp, and bold with a very fine creamy medium body that totally fits the flavors. A perfect beer for just a quick thirst quencher. Hits the spot without a doubt and drinkable without a doubt. Damn fine beer.

This brew pours with a very, very pale yellow body topped by a thick white head with lots of lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet, malty and grainy with grassy hop notes. The flavor is slightly sweet yet well balanced with bitterness, grainy and grassy. Light bodied, smooth yet dry.

Bright straw yellow color with mild yeasty aroma. Smallish quickly dissapating thin head. Mellow biscuit like yeasty taste with an initial sharp bite. Nice crisp finish. Nice for what it is.
