Ticked this at the Abbey itself. Dark brown in color with a small tan head and great lacing. Pleasant aroma that is roasty and chocolatey with slight dark fruit notes. The flavor is has chocolate and dark fruits without too much sweetness with medium hop bitterness. Dry and crisp, almost a little tart, with a good level of carbonation. An elegantly crafted beer, I must say. Very enjoyable.

Sampled with Dallas at Lost Abbey Tasting Room. Poured a deep brownish black body. I remember very little about this beer other than Sage recommending it to us after being about 7 beers deep. I remember liking this porter and thinking it was pretty solid, nothing crazy.

On tap at Lost Abbey tasting room. Red/brown with tan head. Roasted malts, smoke, typical porter aroma. Mild, somewhat bitter with some sweetness towards the end along with roasted malts. A decent porter but too thin.

light brown doesn’t look great, but has a great light tan head, great retention and lacing... light generic nose, meh... a bit too carbonated, taste is super bland, this is not very good, pass

Dark brown with a creamy tan head. Malty aroma. Tastes of chocolate and cherry with a sweet fruity finish and a smooth velvety finish.

Draft at the brewery. Medium dark brown pour, with a small off-white head. Roasted malt, light cocoa, light sweetness, caramel, and some hops in the finish. Decent, but nothing special.

On tap at the brewery on Memorial Day. Murky brown with some off white tan head. Malty roasty nose. Medium body . Some caramel cola like flavors with the toasty malt predominant. Goes down easy, pleasantly and not a bad brew.
