750 mL bottle from south bay (good people) . This brew is excellent, pours the nice cloudy golden hue that I expect from my saisons. Aroma is a little sweet with some dry spice in there, and some acidity. Flavor is refreshing, I just mowed the lawn and wasn’t sure if I was going to rate this one but let me tell you, this one is good. I had to rate it before it’s gone. I almost have this bad boy finished and I want more. Drinkablity is through the roof on this one (screw BMC that ain’t drinkable). Nice lemon zest flavor with some sweet funk and a slightly dry finish. Some bitterness in there as well. All this on top of the standard yeasty, spicy saison style. Thanks Dave for this great contribution to beer! MrChopin (4304) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JAN 12, 2010

Hazy gold with a moderate, fizzy white head. Nose is surprisingly sweet with heavy fruit in tangerine and lemon, but there is also strong yeast and hints of pepper. A long finish highlights the rounded, yeasty flavor, which is framed by orange, pepper, and floral accents. The palate is world class, somewhat dry and decently thick but still light and vibrant thanks to the controlled carbonation. The only complaint is that it misses on the complex farmhouse element. Despite this, it is balanced on all accounts and is a supremely-crafted Saison.
Thanks to Kevin for sharing this!
A- Body is a murky, nearly opaque dirty golden hue. Pours with a 1-2 finger foamy white head.
S- Nose is that of a classic, very well done Saison. Lots of floral hops, some spicy yeast, a little bit of funk, and a hint of lemon.
T- Lots of floral hop flavor comes through initially with a load of spicy yeast and pepper. The finish is quite dry. Left to linger is a hint of lemon as well as an essence of spice and a lot of floral hop bitterness.
M- High carbonation and a body that is lightweight and rather dry.
D- This is an awesome hoppy, spicy saison. One that I wish I had available to me all of the time. Great example of one of my favorite styles!

this clear light beer is not like any other beer. It is in a class of it’s own..the bright flavors of citrus and spicy honey burst in your mouth and party on..It’s simplicity is it’s strength: it’s like drinking sunshine. djtimeless (222) - Colorado, USA - MAY 22, 2009
Pours out a hazy orange gold with creamy foam. Sweet, spicey, citrus, and floral flavors. Nice funky earth, bready grain flavors. Crisp dry finish, refreshing. Great farmhouse style ale.

Appearance: Pours a clear copper with a dense, sparkly 1/4 inch of head.
Aroma: Corriandor, clove, grass and a bit of pencil shaving I sometimes attribute to Belgian Tripel yeast.
Taste: Huge burst of tangerine, followed by spicy hops and cloves. Finishes nice and dry.
Mouthfeel: A tad bit fizzy, not thick nor thin.
Overall: Really refreshing, really flavorful, and the tangerine really sets this beer a part from the rest. 3fourths (9349) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - DEC 14, 2009
unfiltered and bottle-conditioned. careful pour yields a faintly hazed glowing yellow body with a fine-bubbled white head, tall and billowy. nose of lychee, apricots and citrus-scented hops, but it’s driven by an incredibly dense and nuanced saison yeast full of creamy mango and zesty white pepper. dense and frothy without being bulky or weighed down - moderately dry and subtly floral - beautiful beer that reminds me of SPF 45. Bouteille de 750 ml, chez David et Catherine. Merci beaucoup David !
Big thanks to Kevin for sharing this one!
A-pours a dark cloudy amber color with a light tan colored head.
S-the nose is pretty nice, light saison yeast aromas, plenty of citrus hops in there, apricot, mango, floral aromas, a nice light peppery spice to it in the finish.
T-the taste follows the nose, a lot of citrus and floral hops, mango, apricot, peach, typicall saison yeast flavors, with a hint of peppery spice to balance.
M-a medium body with a syrupy texture, slightly grainy on the palate with a nice carbonation to balance out the syrupy texture.
D-this is quite nice, plenty of citrus flavors to make it quite enjoyable with the nice saison farmhouse yeast and enough light peppery spice to balance.
