On tap at the brewery. Pours with a clear golden hued body with a lasting white head. Aromas are earthy, resiny, citrus, medium nutty, low tropical fruit. Flavors are bitter and resiny, stone fruit, grainy, grassy, clean and dry. Very unappealing earthy/soil/resin hop aroma. Lively bubbles and dry. Not a huge fan of the hops used (I am assuming, having had so many great hoppy pales from Port, that it is the ingredient instead of technique that I am disliking). tcane7 (1674) - Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 18, 2012
Draft at Port. Nose of fresh cut grass, pine, citrus, slightly roasted malts. Still fresh this late in the year. Pretty tasty - citrus, pine and grass Jesterdeal (1985) - Marlton, New Jersey, USA - OCT 11, 2012
On tap @ brewery. Aroma of apricots. Pours bright orange with little film. Taste is forgettable with slight citrus, apricot and a nice malt back. Easy to gulp. skmikeg (1826) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 22, 2012
UPDATED: NOV 20, 2012 On tap at brewery. Pours a bright orange with a decent off white head. Aroma is of floral hops, citrus peels, pine resin, and some bready malts. Taste is of bitter citrus peel, a good amount of pine, grassy notes, and some bready sweet malts to balance out the hops. Has a medium body with a nice and creamy mouthfeel and a dry, bitter, refreshing finish. overall, a pretty good APA that uses fresh, local hops nicely. tastybeer (1853) - Indiana, USA - OCT 13, 2011

Clear light orange with a fizzy white head. Huge caramel and citrus hops aroma and taste with a good bitter bite. brokensail (16609) - Dublin, California, USA - SEP 20, 2011
A: The beer pours amber in color with a fluffy, off-white head.
S: Sweet bread is the first thing I pick up. For a "hoppy beer," it’s not super pungent. The hops are a bit more subtle with lots of floral hop aromas and light pine and grass notes. A mild toffee sweetness.
T: The flavor starts off with a light sweetness of toffe and bread. As with the aroma, lots of floral hops, with mild grass and pine. Slightly bitter, bit well balanced.
M: The body is medium with medium carbonation.
O: While maybe not as in your face hoppy as some other beers, this was very nice with lots of enjoyable subtleties. jredmond (8445) - New York, New York, USA - SEP 13, 2011
Draft at Lost Abbey with Andrew, Brendan and the big boy daddy dad Bachelor, Dallas. Pours an amber body with light white head. Aroma is super fresh pine and grass hops. Mouthfeel is incredibly smooth, refreshing and with notes of citrus and pine. Pretty basic pale ale - but brewed to perfection. hivemind (918) - New York, New York, USA - SEP 9, 2011
On tap at Lost Abbey w Andy, James and Dallas. Awesome sprucey aroma on top of a solid amber pour; tingly, fleeting carbonation and superb drinkability. Light mouthfeel and elusive flavor that keeps you drinking. Glad I only got a sampler. AcctError54399 (1962) - Manhattan, New York, USA - SEP 9, 2011
