22 oz. bottle thanks to a trade with awaisanen. Pours a hazy gold with a moderate, long-lasting white head. A few floaters noted in the glass. Very nice aroma of fresh citrus, specifically grapefruit and lemon. The flavor is quite different than the aroma. There is an initial albeit brief taste of malt, which is quickly overrun by pine and heavy grapefruit peel bitterness. A bit too bitter for my taste; I prefer their Wipe Out IPA. Light amber yellow color with tiny partials floating around. Smell of hops, oranges, grapefruit, pine, wood, malt, honey and flowers. Taste of hops, hops, orange zest, hops, pine, hops, flowers, malt, grapefruit, a hint of lemon and a great bitterness at the end. We need this beer in Wisconsin. What a great beer and I definitely need more! Thanks for the share brewblackhole! brewblackhole (1588) - Muskego, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 18, 2007
Light but distinct floral and pine hoppiness in aroma, tangy ,tart citrusy, hop first taste,I mean really heavy on the tart, gets your side tongue juices going like a glass of grapefruit juice, hard to chase down any malt, you sense it for a second then that hop tang and bitterness overrides it,a little lighter then other PP hop brews, but I would not classify it as light. Bottle: The aroma has moderate orange, fruit, and citrus hops. It pours a hazy golden-orange with a small whie head. The flavor starts with orange and some light caramel. The finish has moderate hops and some faint soapiness.
Aroma of evergreen and citrus. Hazy gold color with virtually no head. Starts with citrus, quickly accompanied by evergreen (not typical pine). Some malt lurks in the background, but this is a hoppy beer. Rather thin mouthfeel. Not a problem. This has hoppy substance. The bitter persists well on into the finish. Something of a green bitter. Nice finely bubbled carbonation. Sediment. Could be live.

golden color...small but sustaining head. light on the palate but that isnt a bad thing. nice floral and piney hops. not overpowering. hopheads....this is NOT your IPA. this is rather light and refreshing...it wont blow away your tastebuds with hops but the flavor is nice. kwoeltje (2233) - Manchester, Missouri, USA - FEB 1, 2007
(bottle) Hazy gold, almost no head. Grass and pine aroma. Flavor likewise floral and pine. Medium bodied. Sediment in the bottom of the bottle. thebaldwizard (1207) - Ohio, USA - JAN 30, 2007
Thanks to Vac for this brew! Light pine hop aroma from a hazy golden brown body. Medium to thin palate. THe flavors are light malt and plenty of bitter, pine hops. Very straight forward, and refreshing. illinismitty (2271) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JAN 25, 2007
Bottle thanks to Zug4abby. I have been seeking this one out. Pours a hazy orange with floaties and a diminishing white head. Nice aroma of citrus (orange and grapefruit), honey, and pine. Light texture without being watery in flavor, and a lively fizziness on the tongue. Initial flavor of pale malts that immediately gets overpowered by bitter hops, that are dry and grassy. Citrus flavors come out on the lingering bitter finish. There was not much residual sweetness on this sample, which would really take this to the next level. Still, darn tasty and a solid example of a West Coast IPA. Thanks Abby! BennyTicklez (621) - USA - JAN 21, 2007
WA Cask Beer Fest ’06. Pours golden. Somewhat light body but extremely drinkable. Taste is piney and orange like. Good IPA.
