3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
I poured a 22 oz bottle into a snifter. Dated 9.21.11, this probably would have been better a month ago, but I’ve been busy with harvest offerings from Founders, GDBC, etc. So, when I found this at the bottle shop, I couldn’t resist adding one more wet hop, even if it is a bit past its prime. As usual, Port didn’t disappoint. With a cloudy orange body dotted with floating yeast bits, this raised a 2-finger rocky white head from which emanated a seriously simcoe-ish hop aroma. Flavors followed suit, in classic west coast ipa style, though this is both lighter in body and sweeter in the finish than some in that genre. Port has other things that I like better, and there are other wet hop ales that I prefer to this one. Still, if you put Port and fresh hops together, you’re going to get something good, and this is it.
Pint can. Tangerine aroma with notes of grapefruit, pine resin and floral hops. Pours lousy golden colored with a large off white head that has excellent retention and good lacing. Starts with tangerine and grapefruit hop citrus flavors. Finishes dry and quite bitter with pine resin and floral hops. Decent ipa. oobawa (1858) - Tennessee, USA - DEC 2, 2017
Nice IPA, now brewed with Simcoe and Amarillo (not Centennial). Lots of dank and pine notes on top of mild hints of peach and grapefruit, underlined by a grassy, grain-and-biscuit tinged malt base. Finishes with a strong, clingy bitterness, resinous and stubborn, black pepper and pine cones mixing with toast, caramel, and black pepper. Pours a mostly clear gold with a sizable white head and moderate lacing. Peach, lemon, pine, and weed in the aroma. Oily, well-carbonated feel rocks. Good--if tame--fresh hop IPA, but drinkable as hell. TimE (6263) - Tokyo, JAPAN - OCT 8, 2017
Hazy golden color. frothy white head. very heady nose with some citrus and pine notes, balanced, aggressively hoppy. Fairly dry. Good stuff jonno (3012) - JAPAN - OCT 7, 2017
Patience, or solitaire as it is known in the US and Canada, is a genre of card games that can be played by a single player. Patience games can also be played in a head-to-head fashion with the winner selected by a scoring scheme.
In the US, the term solitaire is often used specifically to refer to solitaire with cards, while in other countries solitaire specifically refers to peg solitaire. Both Solitaire and Patience are sometimes used to refer specifically to the Klondike form of Patience. ffaoe (1012) - Moorestown, New Jersey, USA - APR 14, 2017

I didn't take any extra notes when I tried this beer for the first time but I'm gonna try it again and update my comments.

Bottle. Hazy orange color, white head. Aroma has lots of fruits, mango, hops. Big hoppy palate, mango notes, pineapple notes, malts on the back. kajser27 (2086) - Zagreb, CROATIA - SEP 24, 2015
Amber colored, cloudy, medium off white head. Aroma is of caramel malt, tropical fruits, some flowery and also peppery notes. Taste is medium sweet, caramel malt background, biscuit, tropical fruity and floral, some pine, medium+ bitterness. Dry finish, lasting bitter aftertaste. Medium bodied and carbonation. Not the freshest bottle so the hoppy aroma is not that overpowering compared to the malt. Have to repeat this one. bergstaden (3327) - Røros, NORWAY - SEP 5, 2015
Hazy golden with a white head - Hoppy aroma with citrus - Good malt body to support a hop profile with a huge grapfruit flavour - The grapfruits from hops goes into the finish - A little to much grapfruit for my taste, but still a nice beer MrHult (466) - SWEDEN - AUG 28, 2015
