Very hazy dark brown beer with a short lived biscuit coloured head. Slightly soft palate. Light touch of dark malt. Subtle smoke, well buried. Semi dry bitter hops providing bitter fruit. Finishes with a spritzy carbonated bite. Not really a lager and doesn’t work for me.
Draft at Heroes and Legends in Claremont. Black color, tan edge head, solid lacing. Aroma of coffee grounds, mill chocolate. Taste is rich and roasty. One of the tastiest tmavy beers I’ve ever had. cgarvieuk (26365) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 28, 2010
