had it again last night on draught at high dive and it was even better.. the way the bitterness mingles with the citrus and the taste lingers just long enough on the palate is quite frankly, beer at its best.. CRISP and undeniably smooth even with the high degree of difficulty.. Without a doubt, my favorite and the best craft of any category Ive had thus far.

thanks to JW32hoops for sharing this little gem.... pours a muddy golden orange.. almost hef but without the playboy mansion... the aroma is abundant, citrus, I sense orange and the slightest bit of grapefruit.. great smell.. the initial hit to the palate is that of organized, subtle hops.. the million dollar word is.. CRISP.. Crisp hops, crisp bite, crisp finish.. the bite is like a nibble but the kind of nibble you hope finds you again and again....as I drink more the hops settle into a uniform of T’s... translucent, transforming, terrific.. great finish.. again, crisp.. the floral hops nibble once more before they bid adeu... great job on this one boys...
Now having this after a 2 year hiatus from it. IT ABSOLUTELY DESERVES A PERFECT SCORE. THIS IS MY PERFECT BEER. A very rare distinction. GreatLibations (1854) - Last Supper, Arizona, USA - MAY 27, 2011
Another perfect beer. A hazed apricot color with a tall lasting head and strong aromas of grapefruit rind. Full nectar with excellent carbonation. Full and lush with only mild sweetness. In an attempt to balance the extreme hop profile the malt backbone turns away with a blush and realizes his futility. The finish is bittered and scorned and bittered again. If you let it, I’m sure this beer will eat your face to the cheek bone. I don’t even have to Trump this one. The perfect beer and I wan’t another one. This bar far has to be one of the biggest surprises for me. On a whim I tried this beer and have been stuck on it for months now. It is extremely floral with strong hints of bitter orange peel. I would recommend this beer first to hop heads. jstraw (1967) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 25, 2011
Draft at Jerry’s. Golden with big. flotsam, white head / Big nose of sweet citrus, bubblegum, weed, and cut pine / Medium body, moderately sweet with soft carbonation (creamy), with great balance and long, bitter, finish / Flavors of grapefruit, orange, bubblegum, weed, caramel, and cut pine / Perfection - rivals the best of 3 Floyds. joker1138 (2) - - MAR 14, 2012 does not count

Good DIPA. Hop forward. Tastes of grapefruit and citrus. There is a slight sweetness. Hides the alcohol well making it easy to drink.

I started drinking IPA’s 18 years ago I reckon and the reason I’m giving this beer a perfect score is because it is the best beer between it and a imperial. It’s a true DIPA and nudges Lagunitas Hop Stoopid out of the gold here. easy priced and delicious to the max. My next keg. Low69caprice (100) - Yucca valley, California, USA - SEP 10, 2015
Another awesome ipa from this joint. Pineapple and grapefruit hop aroma. Very hoppy and sticky hop flavor from perfect carbonated beer with the best hoppy finish. mrhoppy (1288) - Santa Clara, California, USA - MAR 2, 2011
UPDATED: SEP 21, 2013 This is the medicine I recommend for hop heads that have had a recent bitter disappointment in their beer. Wow! If you want a bitter slap in the face. This beer nails it. Massively bitter! Killer! Yeah Baby! phildorsey (161) - Fort Carson, Colorado, USA - SEP 4, 2011
From tap. Pours golden/amber and hazy. Nice frothy head and a very citrus aroma. Taste is great and pleasent to the palet, but not pungent lik many IPA’s. Excellant beer, with an excellant taste.
