4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
The murky amber pour was topped with a huge head, and as it rose up rapidly, I ended up spilling this a bit. The head stayed around for a while, looking like beige whipped cream topping the liquid. The smell was quite hoppy, despite being masked by the foam. There were aromas of grapefruit, pine, and hay with every sniff. The taste was very much in line with the West Coast roots of the beer. It was bitter from the start, with a grapefruit pith backbone. There were also notes of pine tar, tangerine, and a hint of pepper. This was a hop-head’s wet dream realized. The finish was mineral laden and drying. The aftertaste lingered on for quite a long time after each sip. The body felt light and lacked the stickiness found in many other DIPAs. If you are craving some piney hops, this is the beer to get.
Bomber into wine glass. Copper orange thick white head. Slightly sweet almost creamy nose. As expected a lot of bitter in the mouth, orange and grapefruit pith. Slightly sticky finish. Decent for a hop bomb kind of IPA. malrubius (2900) - Springfield, Vermont, USA - JUN 17, 2017
Can from Table and Vine for 8.99/4pk, much cheaper than local brews. Bright clear pale copper with lasting head and lace. Pine citrus and light toasted toffee aroma. Medium-heavy sweetness toffee cereal toasted nuts honey light peachy fruit with medium-heavy assertive resiny and citrus bitterness that dries the sweetness well in the finish. medium-full slightly sticky body with low internal carbo. Old school but excellent. .................................................. [Fuck A-B/Inbev] ctitze (12) - New Jersey, USA - JUN 8, 2017

Copper pour from the bottle with small white head. Grapefruit and grass on the nose. Citrus zest up front with a sticky hop finish that just hangs on, in a good way. eljebi (96) - oviedo, SPAIN - APR 1, 2017
Cuerpo medio (algo pastosa). Aroma increíble a pomelo, mango, melocotón, resina, malta... Brutal. On tap. Pours a dark copper with moderate head. Aromas of bready malts, pine and dried candied fruit. Flavors follow same with bitter pine and toasted malts. well done.
