Bottle shared in NH. The bottle’s a few years old now. Pours clear reddish-gold with a frothy white head. The nose has leafy hops, pine, some toasted grains. Medium to heavy sweet flavor with rich grainy malts, jammy citrus, melon. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sugary finish, lots of bready malts, ripe orange. Not bad. dfearnley (2071) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 31, 2015
Bottle to wine glass
Spruce, pine, orange rind, grapefruit. Hazy reddish amber with a thin off white head and decent lacing. Taste is pine, grapefruit, a touch of caramel, and bread. katrinaez (1921) - norristown, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 23, 2015
Not bad. Very hoppy for a red, but had some "red" qualities. Hazy and dark orange brown color. Bottle radagast83 (8011) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - AUG 15, 2015
Draft at The Confessional. Poured a pretty amber-red color wwith a small, but fluffy white head. Aroma has a strong hop presence, juicy, some pine resin too. Flavor was sweet boozy malts, hops are certainly there. Pretty easy to drink, but could get you drunk real quick. andrewje41 (3764) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - JUL 14, 2015
Draft pour pint at special brews. Pours a dark purple red color with a cream foam head. Spicey, malty aroma. Flavor.is heavy malt, light spice, and a roasted finish. Has a warming feel to it. I feel like this would be a nice winter beer, though it’s doing just fine here in the summer heat. Lingering malty, almost cinnamon like finish. Good beer here.

On tap at the brewery. Amber color with nice beige head. Aroma is hoppy and malty, berries, sweet jam. Taste is bitter caramel, earthy, just like it should be. An excellent Imperial Red Ale! mateuszk (2670) - Poznań, POLAND - JUL 2, 2015
Bottle. Red in colour, white solid head. Aroma of american hops, tropical fruits with notes of caramel malt. In taste malty, first caramel then fruity hops and solid bitterness in the finish. Medium to full bodied, smotth. One of the best American Imperial Red Ale (call it how you like it). Strongly recommend! Saeglopur (2154) - Vienna Woods, AUSTRIA - JUN 7, 2015
Bottle shared by Cuso at Bratislava Slovak-Austrian RB Tasting, thanks!

Deep copper, hazy body, with a massive, frothy, light beige head.
Aroma of grapefruit, pine, stone fruits, caramel.
Taste with about the same aromas, but with more caramel and biscuit and some more tea notes.
Medium, slick mouhfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes bitter-sweet, a bit dry, zesty, piney, with lots of smooth malts.
Very nice. Great example of an Imperial Red, smooth and with a good balance. Pretty filling though, I would prefer a bit more drinkability.
Bottle from Ammersin magazine Wien 5. Amber colored with huge off-white head. Nice light hoppy aroma with malt, caramel. Caramel malt, citrus hops in taste. Long hoppy bitter finish.
