Bottle- Pours an almost clear light amber color, moderately sized off white head. Nose is just whats to be expected, that wonderful citrusy west coast IPA nose, a little spice to it to balance out. Flavor is a wonderful expression of american hops, along with a nice malt backing this is one fine brew. Finishes dry and full of hop flavor.

From Sept 2008 This beer pours a hazy orange gold. There's about an inch of foam and the lacing is very good. The smell has big notes of citrus hops with some tropical fruit and some sweet malt floating in the background. The taste is also very hoppy, at least at first. Good notes of mango and grapefruit up front...bitter but not overdone. Then some caramel malt sweetness moves in and there's definitely some balance here now. Nice! The more sips I take, the more I notice the balance and man, that works for me. Mouthfeel is on the low side of medium and the carbonation is lightish but lively enough, for me, to keep the flavours "dancing" on my palate. It finishes with a caramel malt/earthy malt sweetness *and* citrus bitterness. In other words, the finish is also nicely balanced. I like!! Head retention is good and lacing is also good. Bottom line: I think Port Brewing did a fine job with this American IPA. Very tasty and quite the drinkable brew.

Bottle. Orange colour, cloudy, nice rocky head, poor lacing. Aroma is lots of tropical fruit, with tangerine, mango, lichee. Fortunately no spruce or grapefruit. Medium bitterness, short and not aggressive, light sweetness.Soft carbonation. I don't like IPAs, but I enjoyed this one.

Bottle. Golden with one finger head. Prototypical west coast IPA. Big citrus and resin. Nothing groundbreaking, but just a very well done beer.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before 12/14/2017. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy medium golden yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with fatnastic retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, light pepper, pine, light honey, lightly toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/pine hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, light pepper, pine, light honey, lightly toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus rind, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, lightly toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, bready/grainy, and sticky/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is awesome. Zero warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is an incredible IPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink; despite the aggressively bitter/drying finish. Absolutely spot on classic tasting West Coast Amarillo/C hopped IPA. Very vibrant and dank hops, with just enough pale malt to balance the resinous finish. A highly enjoyable offering.

Bomber from Uncle Babe’s shared with Craftmember, Trevor and Ster at Gentse Feesten. Snow white, stable, tightly lacing head, ’old gold’ colour with warm amberish tinge. Aroma of pine resin, grapefruit zest, wormwood, pink pepper, lightly toasted bread, orange peel, toasted onion - classic West Coast IPA profile. ’Dried’ fruitiness in the onset with notes of dried mango and unripe banana, grapefruity hop notes subtly apparent from the start, medium carbonation, supple and bit oily mouthfeel; biscuity, lightly toasty maltiness, matching well with a firm hop finish, resiny and piney, long and bitter with pleasant cedar oil, grapefruit peel and orangey notes, spicy ending. Nothing out of the ordinary here - and this bottle was probably a bit past its prime to begin with - but in any case a very enjoyable, correct and more than decent offering if you like your IPAs classically West Coast in profile.

Aromat: świeży, intensywny i mocny, są w nim głównie żywice i cytrusy. Wygląd: złote, przejrzyste, ładna, biała grubopęcherzykowa piana. Smak: słodkie i świeże owoce tropikalne, ananas, mango, marakuja. Oprócz tego dużo słodkich i soczystych cytrusów, pomarańczy, grejpfrutów. To piwojest słodkie ale na szczęście w ogóle nie ma nut karmelowych i landrynek. Soczyste, owocowe i pijalne.
