Appearance: bright gold-orange, with a short, bubbly white head that shrinks quickly. Aroma: zippy nose, with mango, light pine and pineapple, bit of apricot and lemongrass--really nice. Taste: as the aroma indicates, with the addition of a bit of toasted white bread. Finish: there’s a juicy, lasting fruity bitterness that’s not exactly dry, and not as bitter as, say, an IPA. Notes: Really, really enjoyed this beer. The abv puts it right on that session range (this could almost be called a session IPA if it was a tad hoppier), and the flavors were really refreshing. Great palate. Would definitely drink again.

Draft at DoG Street Pub. Pours light golden, exceptionally active with a nice active, pillowy head. Not much distinct flavor here, but this is quite pleasant beer ... Crisp, lightly tangy, perhaps a light woodsy finish. Very sessionable, indeed. (#4738, 8/18/2012) Huhzubendah (3705) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 5, 2012
Growler shared by Thorpe429.
The beer is fairly hazy and appears golden orange hued. Small white head. The aroma brings citrus, malt, dank hops, resin. Smells nice. The flavor follows suit, with a grapefruit rind and malt presence. Light bodied and easily drinkable. I would definitely drink this again. A solid example of the style.

Tasted after a bike ride. Pours slightly hazy amber. Good sized white head. Aroma is biscuity, pleasant. Taste is biscuity, malty, hints of honey and of a sharp hop bitterness, maybe some citrus rind. Quite refreshing on a hot day, in keeping with the name.

Thanks to Amyliz4 for grabbing this growler from the brewery. Served in a Port City pint glass. Beer is a pale yellow. Good head and lacing. Crackers in the nose. Faint hops. Toasty and a bit bready. Fairly dry finish. Medium body. Quite tasty and a very nice example of the style. jcos (1851) - Maryland, USA - SEP 22, 2014
