The beer is a deep golden color and medium bodied, with a soft round malt profile and crisp and spicy hop character on the finish. This lager is brewed in the traditional Pilsner style, using authentic Pilsner malt and noble Saaz hops.

Downright Pilsner gets its carbonation completely naturally as it lagers in our fermentation tanks for six weeks. A unique twist on this beer is the dry hop addition of Saaz hops. This additional infusion of hops gives the beer an extra refreshing bite on the finish.

Pours clear golden with a frothy and thick but not long-lasting eggshell head. Crisp aroma presents fruity and fresh malt notes, typical but inviting. Flavor delivers crisp malt, pear, hoppy and subtle apple tones - a little bitter for a pils, and I like it! Mouthfeel offers firm, smooth body and good fizz. Im not a big pilsner fan, but I downright like this one.

At NHC 2016 banquet. One of the best pils in America. Saaz and pils malt aroma. Flavor is a bit oxidized but otherwise spot on.

14 oz pour on draft at the District Drafts stand (Section 130), Nationals Park in DC. Cardinals vs. Nationals. Served in a clear plastic cup. Slightly hazy golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of citrus, wheat, herbs, stone fruit. Tastes of citrus fruit and peel, malt, wheat, some bitter floral. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Nice enough for a ballgame on a hot summer day.

Pours a brilliant deep straw color with a foamy white head. Notes of sugar cereal, catty hops, and cream of wheat. Not bad but the hops were a bit muted.
